What: Going Home
Where: Zanarkand
When: Evening
Rating: R for violence

Sometimes it was difficult to think of this place as home. Spira was nice enough but sometimes he missed Zanarkand. Well, his Zanarkand. It was strange to think he was from a dream world, a dream of a place destroyed over 1000 years ago, but he'd finally managed to come to terms with that. Yet, here he was, feeling quite homesick.

Whenever he felt that way, Tidus would make a trip. It was a long trip - with the help of airships and hovers - but he'd made his way to Zanarkand. His home. Well, the ruins of his home. He hadn't told anyone about leaving Besaid, not even Yuna, but that was only because if he'd told her he'd have been accompanied on this trip. That was not what he wanted. He had to do this alone. Without anyone helping him. It was his ritual.

After spending some time talking to Kimahri, well talking at Kimahri, about everything that had been happening, Tidus found his way through to the ruins of his home. The trip across the Calm Lands had him seeing ghosts. He was sure he'd seen Braska summoning and his old man hanging around... and Auron, of course, but he knew that was probably fatigue from the journey making him see things.

As soon as he made it to Zanarkand, Tidus' eyes fell on the night sky, painted with stars and pyrefly. He hadn't wanted to get upset but it was difficult to hide it. Stepping into place, atop that hill he'd stood on before, Tidus smiled. He knew when it was best to let it out and when it was not, now. He'd just smile and remember the story he'd taken the time to write.
