Kid stood atop her summon, her heart racing and hair flowing from the speed Ifrit was going today. She wished she could enjoy the ride more, but that would have to wait for another time. Perhaps when she could finally beat the tar out of some Heartless.
"OI! HOLD YER SEAHORSES!" she shouted, gaining the attention of the Hell Hounds.
Serge and Glenn picked their heads up at the voice, causing Kid's grin to grow even bigger, if such a thing was possible. She always enjoyed seeing their shocked expressions, and today was no exception to the former Radical Dreamer.
"Alright!" The fire of Ifrit reached up to her own body. "Ifrit! It's time to scorch their arses!"
The large horned creature she rode roared and slammed his fists against the rocky surface, the earth ahead of him collapsing in a straight path. Glenn and Serge instinctively dove out the way and ran to the sides, avoiding the attack that was heading towards them. The demons too chased after them, only to fall in with the rest of their pack into the abyss below.
Ifrit roared once more into the air, almost howling, and dashed forward as Kid jumped off, leaving him to do what he does best. As the creature dashed, a trail of fire followed his wake, covering the entire gap he made across the wasteland. Fierce flames filled the stretch of broken land, erupting from the land and into the sky. The flames soon died, and the black mist spread outside, disappearing in a matter of seconds.
With one final beastial roar, the Ifrit vanished into a cloud of fire, returning to its rightful master, Kid.
Serge and Glenn stared wide-eyed at the owner of said beast, seeing Kid walking towards them, waving at them. "Told ya I'd find ya, mate."
