When: Afternoon
Where: Edge, 7th Heaven
What: Heading to Costa Del Sol...or not
Rating: PG
Costa Del Sol, a perfect paradise of sunshine in this little world. Kid had never been there, but the tales that she heard only provided the thief with extra motivation into hastening her packing. She didn’t have much though, and neither did Serge, making the luggage part of their schedule out of the way. So they should have been outside the door by now.
But the trio, with Garland out training once more, had to run around the bar, checking to make sure nothing was left on. With Glenn preparing to go out to train and Tifa busy in Midgar, and no one else to run the bar, Kid had to double check everything in order to assure Serge that they could leave without the place burning down to the ground.
With the “Closed” sign hung on the window, Kid grinned. “’bout bloody time!” She turned to Serge, picking up her own luggage as she prepared to leave. “Don’t make me leave you here alone!”
Serge picked his head up from behind the bar after finally cleaning a stubborn spot on the ground. Despite Kid rushing him, he knew she wouldn’t just leave him; he had the certain ride they needed in order to get there anyway. Grabbing his luggage, he walked over Kid, holding the silver orb in his hands. Of course he had not planned on summoning Zero this instant, fearing a panic amongst the people and a possible decline in sales for the 7th Heaven.
Glenn yawned, finally awoken from his nap. His swords were fastened to his side, equipment checked and ready to move out. He smirked at his allies, but not at the fact that they were leaving. A part of him felt like a jerk, yet he didn’t care as he would finally get revenge for yesterday’s training.
Kid waved him off as she opened the door. “Sunshine, here I—“ A mini avalanche of snow slid from the rooftop, landing perfectly on top of Kid and knocking her to the ground. Her head popped out, shaking off all the snow that clung to her face. She shivered, her body freezing at the icy cold temperature. “W-w-w-w-w-wha-t-t-t-t-t t-t-t-the h-h-e-ll!” her teeth chattered.
Glenn’s laughter echoed throughout the bar, clutching his ribs and bending over while doing so. “That was worth it!”
Serge bent down to help her up, only to be blown away by the fire that erupted from Kid. Her eyes flinched, flames sprouting from her hands as her sights were set on the dragoon. Glenn’s laughter came to a halt as she slowly came to him, a fireball hung over her head.
“DIE!!!!”
Anger out of control for the former Radical Dreamer, even she was unable to control the explosion. The smoke quickly filled the air, coughing spreading through the room like a plague. It appeared that their trips would have to wait for a long time, much to their disappointment.
