Where -- A Ship dock headed for Valefore
When -- Mid Afternoon?
What -- Umm ... this and that.
Warnings -- If you can't handle rape, I suggest you don't read this one. There's some massive mind-abusing and torture. But such is their nature.
The Magus had ended up capturing his would-be assassin, some woman who claimed to be from a ruined future, caused by him. Preposterous, he knew, because he intended to -save- the world. After binding her, magically, he'd led her onto the boat to Kilika, pressing his mind down on hers hard enough that he would likely cause damage if he'd kept it up. Once in their cabin, however, he released his mental hold on her, if not the magical bindings on her body, rolling his shoulders, "You gave me quite a hassle, you know, for someone who wants to help save this world. I believe I only have Valefore to thank for my continued life." he chuckled darkly, raking his fingers through his long, azure hair, and looking at her over his shoulder. "Come now, there's no way I can convince you of my pure intent..?" his voice was soft, lulling in its tenderness, despite how hard he'd been while fighting her.
The press on her mind seemed to physically wear on her, her eyes sunken in slightly with darkened rings around them. Even the hat that rested atop her head lay flat, almost falling off of her. She had slumped against the wall, head down, until her eyes raised up to look at him, the green and blue swirling of her irises belying their distressed nature. "I watched your followers burn the world in your name ... destroy my home ... my family ... before I could even speak. Then your followers lock all remaining humans into tanks to become experiments for your sickening regime ... you think that is pure? You think that is -good-?" she was hoarse, her throat sore and raspy, as she struggled to find some comfortable way to sit in her bonds
He spread his hands; the Magus' mind clouded with what Lavos wanted him to think. The man wasn't aware of the mental blast directed at I-no when she accused him of such acts, as it came from the parasite and not him, "I have no followers, dear lady. Nor do I wish them... I merely wish to finish my journey, and create a Final Aeon, to put Sin down for good, so that he may no longer ravage this world." he raised a brow, walking over and crouching near her. The bit of his mind that was still him railed at its binds, enraged by this effrontery beyond reason. He was Zeal, one of royal blood, and better than torturing a woman, a helpless woman at that! His voice was soft when he spoke again, "If you wish to influence my actions, would it not be better to remain close, that I might succeed, rather than attempting to end my efforts..?" those scarlet eyes of his bored into hers beseechingly, though the mental onslaught continued, akin to him driving spikes into her psyche.
The pain ... it ravaged her mind, making tears start to spill from her eyes as she fought to not scream out in pain. It was as if someone were sitting there, poking her skin, as if her body reacted to the torment her mind was facing, bruises forming around her temples, her eyes starting to go bloodshot. Perhaps she had bit her lips, and thus why they were bleeding as well, looking up at him, panting hard, her body jerking at random moments, causing her binds to nearly separate her shoulders. "If you succeed ... the world dies ... whether you live or not..." her voice was a quiet whisper now, unable to lift its volume, swallowing hard as if hands were about her throat choking her. She looked up at him as if he were the one torturing her like this, with eyes that seemed to beg for death.
Lavos continued its assault, before suddenly cutting it off at the point where The Magus' mind writhed in as much agony as I-no's, though of a different sort. The effect was an immediate halt in the pain the parasite had been causing her, though it hedged at the edge of her mind, always ready to take her again; perhaps Lavos wanted her to know that? Regardless, the mage clad in his white robes caught her when his bonds slackened, a quick mental command grabbing her wrists and forcing them together in front of her, where she'd be less painfully bound, "Perhaps so... without the proper guidance. You've seen what happens, you could -prevent- it.." his voice was soft as well, as he held her against him, seemingly concerned, though it was all forced on by Lavos, manipulating them both, "You need only come with me, and advise me.." one of his hands stroked her hip, his lips brushing her ear as he spoke. The Magus shouted in the back of his mind to ignore Lavos, futile though it might be, as he'd glimpsed the alien's plan for this woman, and it was simply... nothing he would, himself, partake of.
The sudden absence of pain was as much a rail to her system as the pain itself was, making her shiver from sudden cold. As he grasped her and moved her hands he could hear the snap of her joints back into their sockets, the way her body shuddered and the sudden gasp for air. Her eyes went wide as he touched her, so ... delicately after all he had done. It was as if he was trying to seem nice when the touch itself was so gentle, but it was a cruel trick on her mind, she knew it to be so. Soothe her after harming her so badly. She shifted as much as she could from his lips, though it ached her skin. Her lips trembled, tears rivering along her cheeks, "how do you convince an avalanche to stop falling. How do you...s...stop the sun from setting. You destroy the mountain ... you destroy the sun ... there is no changing its course once it has begun"
"With the right motivation, anything can be...” his lips followed her ear, and he planted a soft kiss there, the hand on her hip squeezing her softly. Inside, he was revolted, and knew what the parasite was up to, and that perhaps it might work... regardless, he'd be sullied, and it would be something he doubted he could ever live down, even if he survived this ordeal with Lavos in his head... "I can convince an avalanche to rest on the mountain... I can convince the sun to rest in the sky forever.." he trailed off, his embrace more intimate as he shifted to put her on his lap, so he could hold her closer, "I only need you.. To tell me where these things will rest." his chuckle was deep, throaty. This was a bit of a learning experience for the Lavoid as well, as he hadn't thought that taking a woman in the manner it intended would be required for this course of action. It had never experienced the coupling, rutting intimacy that it had witnessed in humans throughout time... It had never been interested, and was only vaguely so, now, as something to learn more about.
She tried to struggle away, she tried to get away. She could deal with being hurt, but not with this. She started to sob, trying what she knew was vain to move away from him, but still, she tried to move, and for a moment succeeded, wriggling enough to fall to the floor, and scramble, even as her back railed at the impact, backing herself against the corner, she stared up at him, and curled her legs up tight to her, as if trying to phase into the wall itself. He had taken her main weapons from her, and without the guitar, her familiar was inept, and weak.
The Magus watched her back into the corner, and looked hurt. So very hurt, just by that simple act of hers. Lavos slammed her mind again, for disobeying, that knowledge would remain when the pain of it faded, and the knowledge that that was only a taste of what the parasite could, and would, do to her. It could take her to depths that humans didn't know, just to watch her writhe in that agony, and bring her back unarmed but knowing it could happen again. For his part, The Magus stood and dusted his backside, looking at her and tilting his head, "You aren't playing your part very well. At this rate, I won't have anyone assisting me, and your future may well come to pass..."
She hunched over in the agony that came with the slam, falling against the floor itself, her cheek resting against the floor, panting hard as she looked up at him, "helping you is one thing ..." she said simply, unable to draw herself up from the floor, she curled into a ball, legs catching around her restrained arms, as if trying to shield herself form the attacks.
The mental ramming continued, intensifying as The Magus got closer to her. He knelt beside the woman, looking very concerned, "Then... -help- me.." he placed his hand on her arm, and suddenly the pain was gone again, as if by his contact with her. It was an insidious ploy, The Magus knew, but he didn't approve of it. At this point, all he could do with his body was make it easier on the girl, but he certainly couldn't resist Lavos' will.
Mind was reeling; the attacks were affecting her body, affecting her reactions. Her familiar was suffering and wailing in her mind, the silence as deafening as a horn in her ears. her body throbbed, even if the assault stopped, looking up at him blankly, almost like a broken doll, as she lost the rigidity in her body, as if she were giving up.
The Magus gathered her into his arms, all tenderness and warmth as he held her up, rocking her gently, "It'll be alright, all you need to do is be with me, to show me the way.." he couldn't believe the words Lavos was making his mouth spill. The same lips dropping such lies pressed gently to the corner of the woman's mouth, his intent quite clearly intimate and carnal, even as he was supposed to be comforting. The pain didn't take I-no again, though it was close enough to be feared.
I-no whimpered, but she didn't move, her eyes staring off into space, as if she were trying to distance herself from what was happening, her hands shivering her entire body twitching as it tried to fix the damage done to it, her head slumping down on her shoulders. She was silent save to whimper, unable to even look at him
Summoners being natural conduits for healing magic, he let a trickle of it pass from him into her. To Lavos, it didn't matter if she wasn't responsive, as it turned it's host body to the bed, a flick of The Magus' fingers hauling her wrists up above her head via the magic bonds. The man's lips found her neck, nipping softly while he kissed her. The Magus knew he had to do this thing, but he didn't have to do it so... mechanically, as Lavos seemed to think it was done. No, if it had to happen, he'd make it good.
I-no could feel the magic repair her aching joints, and remove some of the pain, but it still wouldn't be enough to take it all away. When he hauled her wrists up her shoulders popped again, rather loudly, making her cry out in a muffled plea for unworded mercy, turning her head away from him, tears, their salty scent invading the scent of the leather on her body, running along afresh to the bedding below her, the hat falling from her head, and one would swear it slunk away in shame as to be unable to help it's owner
Lavos taunted the hat from The Magus' mind, clearly reveling in its superior status, while it's host continued making use of the woman on the bed. The bonds on her legs held them down, and straight for the time being, while the pale man's hands roamed along her sides, and up under the leather of her jacket. Certainly, his touch was invasive, but he was gentle about it, and was trying to make it tender, despite the clear violation that it was.
I-no felt ... helpless. She felt weak in that moment, where she had never before. She felt small, and like for that moment she wishes her heart would finally stop beating. Every moment seemed like an eternity, as she tried to pull her mind away, to recede it into itself, but the Lavos corralled her, made her unable to hide away. She looked at him, her eyes, for once so full of utter sadness, as if she were a child in that moment, even as his hand touched her cold skin, underneath the molded leather of her clothing. His hands straying so close to the ring that kept the jacket over her chest
The Magus could see the hurt in her expression, sure as he knew he was part of the cause. Lavos continued to keep her conscious and her mind active, though, cruel to the core as it was. It figured that the act it was forcing was going to keep her in check, if for no other reason that it would make her afraid of it happening again. His hands on her cool flesh might have seemed much warmer than they actually were, and while he wasn't taken with the idea, Lavos controlled -everything- except for what he went along with. So, when his hands suddenly jerked to speed along the process, pulling the ring free in order to expose her to him, he steadied them, stroking over her flesh with a more tender purpose.
The ring unlocked, and the jacket fell off her skin, the leather unmolding slightly. Her body was definitely made to be touched, her skin pale, the clothing doing her form no justice, as if she had been forced into it in certain places. She shuddered, and tried her best to just ignore everything at that point
He managed to give her an apologetic look, one that conveyed the emotion, before his eyes took on the lusterless, flat quality they got whenever Lavos decided to take over. His hands slid over her bared chest, pulling her jacket up slowly in order to pull it off of her arms, phasing it through the bindings and tossing it aside. Though he was somewhat rough, it softened quickly when he quit fighting; to take a mental breath, focusing on I-no while his lips grazed her neck, planting small kisses there, the fabric of his robes brushing her bare flesh.
I-no turned at him for one moment, her force in a sense of rage, as if a second wind. "One day ... I shall break you in half for this" she growled at him, before it was gone from her, being sapped from her and making her fall back helplessly.
His lips brushed up over her ear, nipping it once, and perhaps the words "I hope so." being mouthed against the flesh there, though there was no voice to them. It was all he could get past the Lavoid, who ground his hips rather firmly against the woman's. "Now then...” his voice was flat, forced.
I-no was so lost. One moment he acted sweet, the next rough. She figured it was a game to mess with her head. She didn't buy it, her voice soft, as if to herself. "I will ... pull you apart ... on your faith's altar ... to leave a warning for the rest of them" she growled under her breath. He would find the flesh of her hips scarred, hidden well by the jacket, it looked like, on closer inspection, a serial number.
Lavos' sibilant voice took a hard edge, one unlike The Magus would be in a situation where he was about to bed a woman, "Humph, and I will be sure to ruin this world, and every other I can bring myself to. When I am through with this planet, the future you came from will seem a pleasant dream." his hand had drifted to her hip, in the process of removing her clothes, and he ran his fingers repeatedly over the numbers there. Perhaps Lavos didn't stop to notice them, but The Magus' mind filed it away. It wasn't fair that his failing would cost this girl what Lavos intended, and he intended her to know at least something...
"There could be no worse ... you took my family from me. You took my life from me already then. I cease to exist either way it goes. You may ruin the world but I will ruin you ..." she flipped her head to him, her eyes glowing brightly for a moment, before they dulled back. It was as if she hadn't said the words she did either.
Lavos didn't truly know anger, or even ire, when it came to the human emotion, but it did know cruelty. It would make certain that this woman's future came to pass, even worse than it had before. It would see her family stripped of their humanity, and made his personal attendants, and would see this woman saw each terrible thing it ordered. And it had planned truly terrible things for this world. "We shall see...” he smiled cruelly, the look in his eyes anything but human. She wasn't appealing to the parasite; it only amplified The Magus' body's reactions to the female presence. It continued to force the man to undress her, drawing from his knowledge of what to do.
Her skirt was a single zipper, leaving her with only her lace thong beneath it. She looked up at him, and turned her head to look at him. There was, fear, mixed with sadness, and, something like confusion, as if her mind didn't entirely process what he was going to do, but getting that he was restraining her
One of The Magus' hands rested against her chest, the other on her thigh. He bent, and kissed her cheek gently, still managing to get small words through the way his lips moved. This time, it was "I'm sorry.", and while he wasn't rough at all just then, he did have to continue, so his hands began stroking her flesh softly, smoothly. If nothing else, he could make the best of a bad thing for her. Really, though, he didn't know how he, a Zeal, would atone for this. He wasn't his mother, yet here he was, dominated by the very same thing that had taken that woman from him as well.
I-no looked at him, and sighed, as if she hardly believed him, her body shivering as his hands touched her flesh, not knowing what he planned. She figured he was priming her to beat her, or something just the same
The Magus likely wouldn't strike a helpless woman. Someone who was aiming to kill him? Certainly. But here was a helpless girl... he'd never have done anything he'd done so far under his own power. Yet here he was, his teeth scraping softly over her neck, while the hand on her thigh moved up further between her legs, moving to tease her through her lacy under things. A quick bit of concentration, and his magically spun robes shimmered, leaving him bare to the waist, and quite flushed in the chest and neck. Whether in outrage, or something else, he was indeed quite flushed.
She gasped, and looked at him, and her eyes went wider. Her mouthed the words 'no' and seemed suddenly afraid, her body almost trying to panic to lose consciousness.
Lavos held her mind in check, and it delighted in informing her, even if only instinctually, of what it intended this man he controlled to do to her. Really, it didn't care how The Magus did it, only that he did, which could explain that while Lavos wanted her to be abused, The Magus was being tender, and gentle with her. Right now he wasn't being controlled, because he was obeying, but that allowed him to continue his ministrations. His lips on her neck weren't simply kissing; he was constantly mouthing a pattern of words. Zeal. Lavoid. Sin. And finally... Help. They were all spoken in the manner he'd been going, though he masked it as simple ardor.
If I-no could even sense what he said, it wasn't being shown, as she looked at him, with a mix between fear and rage, her hands balling into fists. She tried to move her back, but found herself unable. Parts of her just wanted it all to end, to give up and just stop struggling. But she was stubborn
And Lavos was patient, and powerful. It directed it's will against her resistance, while the man under his sway, and over her body, continued to caress her flesh, and kiss down from her neck to her chest. His lips and tongue danced over her breasts, paying attention to what, despite her protests, she seemed to like best, so that he could keep doing it. Certainly, it would have been best if he'd wooed her, but he couldn't do anything about that right now.
I-no wanted to scream but she kept herself quiet, looking at him and mouthing as if screaming into his skin, "just get this over with" she pulled back, as if wondering if it would make any difference
Lavos chuckled, mentally, and held her aware of exactly how her body would react to his. If she knew she didn't want what was happening, it would be much more delicious to watch her unable to resist it, and to watch the girl crippled by such knowledge... It turned itself towards enflaming her body's responses, as well as The Magus'. Really, it was just being a prick right now.
I-no looked at him again, and narrowed her eyes, growling under her breath. She tried to keep her heart rate in check, keeping her body calmed down.
Of course, the more she resisted it, the more Lavos turned it up. The man above I-no moaned softly as his body was flooded with a rush of heady feelings, the blush deepening. Now, while still miffed at his own weakness towards the unshakable mind of the parasite, he was becoming quite aroused. Sure, the woman was helpless, and unwilling, but he was being made to be less resistant. And try as he might to avoid it, the mental prodding, and the lush figure of a rather dangerous woman beneath him, were very enticing.
I-no continued to watch him. It was strange the way she acted. Her body seemed to react, but not like someone turning lustful. It was just the body's reaction, by nerves, but nothing seemed to click to her mind.
The Magus didn't click on why her reactions were odd, really... neither did Lavos. In the first case, he hasn't committed to any single woman in his lifetime, mostly harem women with the Mystics he was raised by... and as for Lavos, it's kind reproduced asexually... Deftly, with his lust raging as it was, he tugged her underwear aside, pants shimmering away easily, leaving him bare to the skin. Really, he couldn't help it by this time...
I-no gave one last pleading look to him, as if hoping he would change his mind about it all, her body shivering again, muscles tensing harshly her eyes widening when he looked down at him
He wasn't exactly subtle when he was naked, aroused, and exposed as The Magus was... Mentally sitting back, Lavos watched the goings on, savoring I-no's look of terror, especially because neither of them could stop this act he'd commanded. The azure-haired man gritted his teeth softly, lifting his hips to hers as he held her waist with one hand, the other resting on her hip, pulling her forward. Lavos' only knowledge of this act came from direct knowledge of The Magus, so when he hesitated, trying not to go through with it at the last moment, Lavos simply commanded him to act as with a willing, experienced woman he might find in a harem. And thusly, he did, his hips meeting hers smoothly.
And at the moment he finally took her, her body jolted, and a scream seemed to rip from in her throat, high pitched and pained. And he would understand that he had crossed a line perhaps she had never been near enough to cross. Her mind, her body exploded in pain, enough to make her nearly passes out from it, her body wanting to curl up, wanting to hide, and run. She started to sob from it, more intense than anything she had expected, her body shaking harshly.
For Lavos, it was a fantastic reaction, and he held her there, to the consciousness and knowledge of it. Mentally, The Magus realized what he'd just been forced to do, and what it meant. Surely he'd never make up for it at all to this woman, though he was honorable enough by nature that, despite the way his body moved against hers of its own accord, he was already planning to somehow make it up to I-no. Somehow. Even with all his vaunted knowledge, he didn't know how he would do so by now, and wasn't given time to contemplate it, as Lavos took hold of his mind as well, holding The Magus side by side with his feelings of resentment and disgust towards himself for this.
Lavos would get what he wanted. Her body was in agony; her entire body trembled, and shuddered. She was nearly howling, sobbing openly now, her eyes looking at him, even as they flooded with tears, though the cries slowly ebbed to silence, to everything.
The Magus' eyes didn't leave hers, taking in her hurt and the way she looked at him, though he continued his motions, slowly shifting from the forceful method he'd been taking her, to a more tender embrace. If he could be gentler, perhaps he could keep from hurting her too much more, considering all the pain he'd already caused the girl. The Magus couldn't be too upset by it; he wasn't allowed to be right now. But he knew that sometime, Lavos' hold would loosen, and then he'd be able to feel like he should.
I-no turned her head away after a few moments of his stare, still making little sounds between a whimper and a sob, her hands balling and releasing in their bond, her eyes staring as unfocused as she could manage, trying to distance from the situation she was in now.
Distancing wasn't being allowed for either of them, no, Lavos would have none of that. Given his body's heightened state, though he was aware of what he was doing, and wasn't approving of it in the lease, The Magus let a little moan slip past his lips. Sure, it was bad, and sure, neither of them wanted it, but that didn't stop it being good, especially with his hormones in such a state. The upside, one would assume, would be that it wouldn't be long, now.
I-no didn't know why her body was starting to twitch, she didn't understand how she felt like she was running a fever, the way her breath started to get more ragged, like she was running. Her head was going fuzzy. What mystic trickery was he using on her now? She didn't understand, and her body was going about on its own without her understanding, even through the pain it caused her to move.
Responsive, it was harder yet for The Magus, who figured that she didn't know what she was doing. That would be worse, because this one night would probably scar I-no for the rest of her life... It certainly would put a black spot on the already smeared Zeal name, but he would be trying to make up for it as best he could. He grunted slightly, lifting one of her legs up against his side as he kept his smooth rhythm going, changing the angle subtly.
The pain had subsided just enough for her to be able to sense what he was doing. She could feel ... every motion he made she could feel. Her body seemed to act in accordance to what he was doing. It was as if her body knew what to do, but she had no clue as to what was happening. She turned and looked at him, not knowing why she was breathing hard, and why her body was sweating. Her mind was so foggy, and so in a haze, she had no idea of the way her body arched, against the bonds, through the pain, for a moment she wasn't feeling as much.
The Magus' own breath hitched from time to time, as he throbbed within her, his hips meeting hers firmly with each thrust, despite his ideas to make it good for her. He couldn't take the time to be as tender and caring as he might have been, Lavos put a stop to that, so he had only to try to make a rape seem like something... less horrible. He released her wrists, something that thankfully went unnoticed by the parasite. At least he could make her less cramped...
I-no didn't seem to realize he had released her; her mind was a fog that even Lavos could not shift anymore. She was close to fainting, not knowing what sorcery he was using on her. Was this another torture? Her nerves were on fire, her body shuddering and twitching as if she were seizing against him, biting at her lip so hard it looked as if she'd rip it off, her body finally giving a hard spasm, and starting to pulse harshly against him. Her body stayed hot, though the room felt frozen, her mind was sludgy and slow.
It didn't take too much longer for The Magus' body to give in to the physical pleasure of it. Sure, his mind was horrified, and he would have destroyed anyone he caught taking advantage of a woman like this... But his body was loving it. With a grunt, and a low moan, he shuddered against and within her, eyes shutting for a long moment, before his tense form relaxed. He let out a low sigh, catching his breath, and moving from atop her, Lavos simply dropping its host onto the bed at her side.
I-no didn't move, though to let her leg fall down, the sensations going through her body were confusing at best. Her body was bruised and damaged, she could smell blood, and she was tired, but too scared to go to sleep next to this man. She laid there, still with tears flowing from her bloodshot and puffy eyes, her body shivering from the cold.
Lavos knew the host body was tired, and the stress on The Magus' mind was almost too much just then, let alone on I-no's. It withdrew, subtly influencing other events, to make sure that this would be a grand success by all rights. That, though, left The Magus' body on its own, and his mind quickly asserted it's control over itself. With a small groan, he turned over, and gently gathered I-no into his arms. They were both still nude, but he didn't care. Right then, the small amount of control he had, he stroked the poor girl's hair, "I'm so sorry, Miss...” he whispered, afraid of alerting Lavos to his control.
I-no didn't even look at him "sorry .... you're sorry ... as if that will make anything better" she said quietly, still whimpering, her hand sliding down along her thigh, realizing now that it was free, and pulling her fingers back, the blood on them nearly making her faint. "You ...” she tried to turn from him, to pull away.
"Yes, I'm sorry...” he clenched his teeth, looking quite pained by it all; "I can't stop it. It... Controls me, I can't keep it from using me." he opened his scarlet eyes, deep and soulful, and looked at her, "Help me... help me stop it from going through with its plan.. Please..."
"You’re trying to mess with my mind ...." she said simply, turning to look at him "You're trying to make me think you're some ... chivalrous man being possessed. How can I trust you when all you've done is causing me pain" she said softly, quietly, without the normal candor and life she had used even when attacking him.
"When you get the chance... ask someone knowledgeable about Zeal, and an ancient evil, Lavos...” he looked back at her, hoping she'd at least believe him a little, "I would never harm a woman in such a manner. Earlier, when you were trying to kill me... that was combat. But never... -never- would I force this...” he paused, absolutely disgusted by the thought, "Abominable act... on anyone...” he shuddered, close to being ill.
"I already know everything about your family Janus Zeal" she said simply, turning away to look at the wall. "I know about you ... and how your direct descendants began contracts with ShinRa in the future to create bioweapons out of the refused DNA bred by captured women after the seventh war. I know ... that because of your actions, the human race is all but wiped out, as slaves to the demons that are brought to this land." she said quietly, as if she didn't care anymore.
"We do what..?" he was horrified by this. All this time, he'd thought to never repeat his Mother's mistakes. When she'd exiled the mundane people of Zeal, he'd shut away his magical powers. When he'd been sent through time to the middle ages, and raised by Ozzie... he thought he could be different from her. "N-no...” he let go of her, and would have stepped back, if not for lying on a bed.
"And ... I bet you wonder how I know all of this ..." she said softly, so softly "because whatever you did ... was what exactly was supposed to happen. the one that breeds all of this isn't you ... it is your son" she said simply, turning her head away from him completely, curling up as best she can.
"How do I end up with a son..?" he put a hand on her shoulder, suddenly hungry for the knowledge, "Tell me. You're from this dystopian future... What can I do to avoid it..?" he really did want to keep this world safe, as long as he got his due. The Magus knew he was destined for greatness, like ruling a kingdom, or something similar, but he didn't want the world he wanted to rule to be destroyed in the process... "I'm asking you, Miss, from the bottom of my heart here... just... tell me how to change this...”
"You've already set the course in motion ...” she said softly. "There is nothing to be done now ... the only reason I know all of this is that somehow ... I’m the one that gives you him" she said quietly, as if she were scared himself. "Somehow, I'm the one that helps you destroy the world ... and I would rather die here ... so it would never happen now. Please ... just ... kill me" she whimpered, she curled into a ball tightly as she could
He put his arms around the girl again, giving his head a shake, "If you know, and can help me... we can change this... I... I don't know how long it's going to be before Lavos takes me again...” he gritted his teeth, giving a shuddering sigh, "Just don't anger it, and go along with its plan... I... I think we can stop it in Zanarkand.. Please, Miss, please help me..?"
"Why should I ... it's already too late ... I already failed ...." she said softly, whimpering, and not wanting to look at him, trying weakly to push his arms from her body.
"Because, you're the only one who knows it isn't me..!" he held her tightly, his voice insistent and nearly desperate, "I... I need your help; you're the only one for it." The Magus sighed softly, slowly letting her go, and lied back on the bed, shaking softly. Certainly, she had every reason to hate him now, but he didn't know how to get her to help him, and it was bringing him low as well.
"How do I know that? You willingly gave yourself to it, now you want free of it? You are probably still playing games with me to gain my trust to use for your sick games!" she railed and fought to sit up, though she fell back down in agony.
He looked angry for a moment, and though still whispering, his voice was harsh, "I never gave in to Lavos! If I had my way, when that farm boy and his gang of ragtag commoner friends helped me put it down, that would have been the end of it!" he glared at her back, "I. would -never-. Ever!"
"How do you expect me to believe you" she said weakly, "you ... you've done nothing but cause me pain" she murmured, her eyes shutting, as she did her best to curl into a comfortable position.
"I haven't done anything of my own accord... except apologize for what I could not prevent...” he trailed off, turning to look at the ceiling, "Oh... it's no use. If nothing else, when Lavos becomes my Aeon, it will be weak enough at first that perhaps I can kill it...” he heaved a sigh, "I'm certain there's a place in the world to terminate a pregnancy, so it isn't as if you're stuck with any son of mine." he sounded quite defeated, just then.
I-no lay back quietly, rubbing her hands along the bruises on her body. She simply whimpered, and curled into a ball again, scooting into a corner of the bed against a wall, as if to try and meld into it and become small
The Magus lay there silently for a time, thinking about his current lot in life. With a sigh, he rolled over and raised his brows, looking at I-no curled in the corner, "I know you're not going to trust me, especially after what was just done to you, but that doesn't matter." he shrugged, "Just get away as soon as you can, is all I can suggest. Lavos will take me again, after all."
"I'm stuck ... if I go away, I will die, if I go back I will die, if I stay I will die. I might as well just stay here" she said quietly. "It's not like I'm not used to pain"
"I'm used to it, myself. I thought that when I defeated it the first time, that Lavos would be dead, and stay dead. I certainly don't want any of... this." he frowned, and turned to look up at the ceiling again, sighing.
"I'm not exactly the best white mage going, or I'd fix that...” he sighed, and scratched his side softly, "The thing controlling me... had me take you, sexually, without you wanting it, or even understanding it. This day and age, and as far back as I've been, we call that rape. It isn't a good thing, ever, and I doubt I can ever make up for being unable to stop it from happening...” he seemed quite abhorrent of the whole idea. "When you decide to have sex with someone, it is to be a mutual thing, not forced and... ugh...”
"I guess now that he knows it bothers us both he'll keep doing it" she said quietly, curling up more, "I guess I need to get used to this pain then" she said with a sigh, looking up at him.
He shook his head softly, "I... well, and I did my best to make it easier on you... I mean, it's not supposed to hurt. Not in the way you're describing." he frowned softly, and sighed, "I'm sorry that your first was... the way it was." that bothered him the most. On top of the act, he'd likely scarred the girl even more than he had previously...
I-no shrugged her shoulders, and tilted the hat to rest on her hip. "It's not that big of a problem" she said quietly.
