Then again, what I was reading was probably old enough it wasn't all that accurate.. whatever." he sighed softly, and idly picked a loose thread from his vest, frowning in thought, "Sephiroth.. wasn't he some kind of bigwig ShinRa SOLDIER? Like.. first class or something like that? Hero of a war in Wutai, but went nutso crazy AWOL and burned some mountain town to the ground?" from what he'd taken in, Sephiroth had been good and dead long before he'd arrived.
"Guess maybe power does corrupt, huh?" he deadpanned the statement, then laughed at his own ill-humour, "Aw well, he was taken down before, it can happen again. Too many good guys in the world for the bad guys to win, but they never seem to realize it. It's funny, really."
