Riku kept his gaze on the ocean, as if it would give him all the answers he seeked. Back then, when they had built the raft, he craved adventure so much, he wanted to see other worlds. And he had. But he had also been responsible for the Heartless destroying the Island, and for all the other bad things that had happened.
He'd lost himself and come out the other side as a better person. But it didn't change the memories of what had happened. And it didn't kill his desire for adventure. A proper adventure with no Heartless, no fighting, just fun.
"... I'm not going anywhere." At least not yet. He wasn't even sure that Sora would want to leave the Island again...
