(no subject)

Who: Krile and OPEN to friendly types
What: Looking for a friend, and maybe some guidance. NOTE: I'm playing Krile as 17, not 14. She's not so much a little girl anymore.
When: Over the course of a day?
Where: Luca
Rating: Probably no more than PG, will change if necessary.

After meeting with Rikku and Locke, Krile had decided to postpone her visit to Esthar. Besides having figured out that she wanted to spend time exploring this world, Mr. Loire hadn’t seemed too keen on the idea of her putting herself at risk either, even to help.
Instead of crossing from Balamb to Esthar, she had crossed in the other direction and found herself on Spira after a brief stay in Dollet and a train across Utica. The locals of Spira seemed very energetic and helpful (for the most part), and Krile thought she could see herself living here permanently. That concept, too, was new to her. She had not lived anywhere permanently since leaving Bal, and had never given a thought to such things.

Currently, Krile was in Luca, and the excitement of the fairly large city was beginning to get to her. People were everywhere and something was always happening. Krile found herself not wanting to sleep for fear of missing something. The technology here was also quite impressive, but as much as she longed to learn to use it, she found herself to be nearly hopeless.

In a few days, she was planning to take a ferry to Kilika to visit the temple. She wanted to see how similar it was to the shrines back on Bartz’s world. When she returned, she wanted to trek across the continent. Someone had told her of a magnificent forest, sparkling and beautiful but dying. She wanted to see it once before it was gone. After that, Krile figured she would return to Luca for a while.

Beyond this, however, she had no goals and no plan. A travel buddy would be nice, and so would the security of having a permanent home in this world. Maybe sometime soon she would even begin a pursuit of romance. She knew she was young, and that she would likely learn through trial and error as she had no friends here to observe, but since leaving Bal she was no longer betrothed and was free to find someone on her own. Love was not her main concern at present, and she chose to ignore its distant call.

For now, a friend would suffice. But where to find one she could trust? In a place this big, it wouldn’t be easy.
