With that behind them and Xehanort gone, at least for now, Sora walked up to Kairi and looked at the hooded girl on her lap. "She all right?" he asked as he began to crouch down to see for himself. As his knees bent, Zexion appeared and picked up the girl.
"H-hey! Wait!" Sora said as Zexion began walking into the dark portal. "What about th old guy? What about that illusion? Who is she, why can she use a keyblade!?" he yelled in frustration. More than half his questions couldn't even be heard by Zexion for the portal had closed after his first. Sora's arms hanged by his sides as he looked at the spot where the Corridor once was. "I still have no idea what that was all about." he muttered.
Taking a deep breath to help accept all that would have to wait, he turned back to Kairi and Riku. "Not how I pictured us meeting again, but it's better than never, right?" a smile on his face. He held out his hand to help Kairi up from where she was sitting. "Have I been gone long?" he asked uncertainly.
