The King let Laguna continue to speak, noting that the bodyguard had drifted off. No matter, his Heartless would handle the sleeping human easily when he decided to take Laguna. The mouse continued speaking at opportune times, trying to get Laguna to lay his life bare, because it was much easier to take a Heart when you understood them.
There was the matter of the Nobody that Laguna would undoubtedly spawn, but he'd handled his own, and in a matter of course, he'd take care of the Laguna Nobody as well. He'd picked at his meal, and soon pushed it away, having sampled about every dish except the desserts, "Which of these is the best?" he grinned conspiratorially at Laguna.
