Namine had said that Sora had come to this world. Of course Zexion had heard of him; he was the Keyblade Master who had broken into Castle Oblivion, after all. It was necessary to speak with him, even if he was going to be irrational and attack the Cloaked Schemer.

It had appeared Zexion's plea for help from the World that Never Was fell upon deaf ears. No one came to assist him; not even a useless fool like Demyx. No one. It appeared that Zexion was going to be the only Nobody to lead the other Nobodies that were being created by the hundreds on this world, for every life lost to the Heartless.

Zexion arrived at Balamb Gardens through a Corridor of Darkness, his hood up, as to avoid anyone seeing his face. He would remain motionless, his arms crossed over his chest, and wait for someone to go run to Sora that a hooded man was here.

He'd been alone in his room when the call had came and, Keyblade in hand, the teen went rushing out to find this hooded figure, hoping to Heaven it wasn't King Mickey again. He'd barely survived that. Upon seeing a human-sized figure, he gritted his teeth and held out the Key.

"Hey! Nobody!! What do you think you're doing, lurking around a place like this??" He frowned, shifting on his feet, ready for any battle that may or may not come.

Zexion made no motion as the Keyblader came out. Such a predictable response to the appearence of a Nobody. "Really, Sora, must everything begin and end in hostilities?" he scolded, his voice trying to remain friendly, keeping to Zexion's code of politeness. He contemplated revealing his face, but if Sora was going to be so unfriendly, what was the point?

"But, if you must know why I have come here, it is simply because it is what Namine wants. I'd feel... awful, if I didn't at least try to explain the Organization's interests in the current situation."

"Na...mine?" He lowered the Keyblade, soon letting it vanish. "What's this got to do with Namine?" The teen paused, thinking on how this impromptu visit would involve the little blonde girl.

Then it hit him. "You're... Zexion, right? Namine mentioned you to me when we last got in contact. She said you're an okay guy..." He wasn't going to trust him... but he'd trust what Namine said.

Zexion nodded, reaching both of his gloved hands upwards, and lowering his hood, revealing his downward-spiking silver hair, covering his right eye. His bright green eyes showed a tiny, microscopic hint of friendliness, yet contained the same empty, lifeless feeling of any humanoid Nobody. "There, see? That wasn't so hard, was it?" he chided, uncrossing his arms.

"Yes. I am Zexion, Number Six of Organization XIII. And yes, believe it or not, there are those of us within the Organization's ranks with Namine's best interests at heart... so to speak." Zexion almost laughed at the irony of what he had just said. He had best clarify. "For the record, I never agreed with Marluxia's policies regarding Namine's living conditions. I felt they were too... restrictive, and thus, never allowed her to explore her own potential. That is why I have taken the liberties of taking care of her. I assure you, she is in good hands. She particularly likes those foul-smelling birds she calls 'chocobos'."

"...you're the one that's looking after her? Well, where is she?" He frowned, never willing to trust anyone in these damn Organization XIII cloaks. Even Riku and Roxas acted differently when they wore them. As for Mickey... that was a whole other story. The teen frowned still, tilting his head.

Where was Namine?? "I... want to see a chocobo...... are you sure Namine is okay?" He worried about all his friends, past and present.

Zexion sighed, and slowly shook his head. This was going to take a while. "Namine is quite safe. She has been staying with me at the Chocobo Ranch, which is currently the only headquarters on this world for Nobodies. We have been getting along quite well with the farmers... and this is actually the happiest I've ever seen her. Granted, she's still nervous, but the emotional trauma Marluxia put her through was absolutely reprehensible. It will take a while, but I'm sure she'll feel better soon."

Zexion crossed his arms again, narrowing his eyebrows. "I really must explain why I am here. Sora, as you are no doubt aware, King Mickey has become a Heartless. Against all odds, he became a Heartless of absolutely frightening power... perhaps more powerful than the Heartless of the Superior. I have been researching this, and I can't find any explanation how a being of light such as himself could produce a Heartless of this power."

Zexion took a deep breath, and exhaled through his nose. "Regardless, the uneasy truce between the Heartless and the Nobodies has been broken. They will not listen to us any longer, and I fear this will lead to war between the Heartless and the Nobodies. I needn't explain what that will mean for this world, and those living within it."

Sora sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I know... I know, okay? King Mickey and me... we fought but his Nobody; that Keyblade he uses... it did something. I don't know what but I escaped." The teen frowned a little. "I'm not sure what we're supposed to do against him, he's too powerful for me on my own.

Running a hand through brown spikes, Sora huffed slightly. "This war, it's already begun. We're in the middle of it, Zexion, and we're losing. Badly." The teen sighed, looking to the sky for some sort of unwritten answer.

Zexion made no physical reaction to Sora lamenting his fight with Mickey. "The Organization doesn't like this any more than you do, Sora. The Heartless are just as hostile towards us as they are towards you. It appears they are looking to eradicate all life other than themselves, Nobody and Somebody alike."

Zexion didn't wait for Sora to respond. "Before you ask, no, I'm not going to sit around and wait for this world to be swallowed by the darkness. I'm not asking for an alliance, either. I'm simply letting you know that we have a common enemy. I assure you that we will not bother you, so long as you continue to kill the Heartless. You collect hearts for us by killing the Heartless, and I will try to find the answers behind Mickey's... transformation. I can also guarentee Namine's safety and that none of the Nobodies under my command will bother you, or anyone else. Do we have a deal?"

Sora frowned at Zexion then nodded once. "We have a deal. One Nobody comes lurking or one thing happens to Namine and we're done. I'll send in hoards to deal with you and your Nobodies." The teen's blue eyes were sharp and his distrust made them spark golden for a brief split-second. His Heartless had almost taken over during the battle with Mickey... and it was still lingering.

Zexion nearly laughed at this. Sora? Hordes? Please. The men here had the morale of drunken carnival performers, and were few in number. For every Heartless that was created, a Nobody was created. For the most part, their numbers were equal. "You don't want us around? Fine, your loss. I was contemplating sending a few Dusks to help defend this place as it was one of the few strongholds left for Somebodies, but if you insist..." a Corridor of Darkness opened behind him. Zexion turned, and just before he was about to disappear inside of it, he gave one last word of advice. "And if you want to see a chocobo, take some Gyashl Greens and stand in a forest. They'll nearly trample you to get them."

With that, the Cloaked Schemer was gone.
