Speeding like a bullet towards the ground, Lightning swooped upwards and planted her feet on the ground in the space Zack had cleared for her. "I bet Snow got Ashe to safety. He's the kind of guy to do that," she called to Zack, brushing her hair from her eyes and twitching her fingers as, suddenly, her mage burns had vanished. Then a voice asked about the Queen and Lightning blinked at the blonde who spoke.
"We're looking for her! Who are you?" She spoke while casting, though mage burns were always slow to form on her hands, being that she was l'Cie and magic was more natural to her and her kind than normal humans. Even more than Zack, seeing as he was fused with an Esper while she, in all essence, was one. Sharp eyes scanned the ballroom and, with reflexes akin to her name, Lightning snatched a Shadow by its antennae and tossed it to the air, blasting it with a bomb, just before it pounced on Zack's back.
