Time seemed to begin to slow the longer they rode, the sun becoming unbearable even with her layers of protection, and her spells. Using her abilities to keep herself cold, and shelled, had done it's damage, the hours passing by depleting what Edea had thought her infinite capabilities. She had never before reached a point where she could no longer cast. It was both terrifying and humbling, as she rode along. She had no more ability in her body, and for the first time since the first serpentine kiss of the dark arts on her soul, she was in fact, human-bound again. The reaction was slow coming, and the dread came to her in waves. She was defenseless, she was weakened. The sun began to oppress her, even as it began to set, slowly into the horizon. White knuckled she began to cling to the horse below her, dizzy and beginning to perspire. It was no use. She could not fight anymore. She began to lose her grip on consciousness, her strength falling from her quickly. Without realizing how, or why, or what was happening, she felt herself moving, but was unable to stop herself. in one, almost agonizing slow moment, she lost her grip on the reins of the horse just enough to collapse, tumbling to the burning sand below her, losing grip on the rearing, scared horse, and curling, detached, into the desert below her.

Zax was off his horse immediately, though he calmed both animals before he knelt beside Edea, gathering her into his arms. Concerned, he lifted her as easily as a roll of cloth, and held her gently, "Edea..? What's wrong..?" she hid so much from him that he simply didn't know for sure. Certainly, she was weakened, and tired, but he didn't know the extent of all that, or how he could help her. They were only in the desert because she had wanted some lamp, that they still didn't have.

For once, she was unable to hide the affects her magic had on her body, as he picked her up, she felt truly fragile in his arms, the hood of her cloak falling back. Her eyes were a yellowing gold, deep veins pulsing around the sides of her cheeks, as if like roots along her spine grew into her skull. Her eyes had dark circles around them near like a mask, her skin almost translucently pale. She looked up at him, panting harshly, gazing up at him, "Z...z .... Zax" she shivered, her body a shell of the powerful sorceress that he was used to. "I ... I ... cannot ... I ... " she gave a sound near a whimper - as close a sound of discomfort as Edea had ever made, "I ... can't ... " she whimpered again, "keep going ... I ... can ... t . ..." she groaned, her body was riddled with pain, beyond what she had ever conceived, as if lava was burning through her veins, thickening her blood.

Zax straightened up, looking around with a frown. They couldn't continue like this. "Shh.. it'll be alright, Edea." he spoke to her tenderly, and held her as if she were the most fragile porcelain doll. A few quick, careful steps and he was able to set her down to rest in the shade provided by their horses. In a blink, the man had her luxurious tent out of it's pack, and expertly began to set it up, "We're stopping here for the night." he was telling her what was going on again, as if he were the one in control, but really, Zax was scared. Really scared. Edea looked about on Death's Door.

Edea felt, for the first time in many years, useless. She slouched, which felt strange to her body, as she sat with her head in her hands. Her body was beginning to fail her now, and she hated it. After a few minutes of sitting cross legged, a dull ache began in her hip, making her shift once again, rubbing the sore muscle. She had never had issues with her body hurting, now all of a sudden, it was aching and uncomfortable. She was becoming foreign to her own skin.

Zax eventually came over with a small flask in hand, and pressed it into the Sorceress' hands, stooping and lifting her easily. He didn't ask, mostly because Zax knew how to tell when someone hurt, and she looked uncomfortable, so he carried her gingerly inside, cooing softly. "You just need some rest, Edea. Th'trip's been hard on ya, and I'm here t'make sure yer awright, 'kay..?"

The normal edea would have shuddered at his almost simpering way, but she was too weak to stop it, simply holding the flask, without opening it. How was she so weak. When had age crept up behind the veil of her abilities? Had she really grown so old that her body was simply masked and shelled? The idea was haunting her. That she was no more than her abilities anymore. She wasn't strong anymore, wasn't fast anymore. It was all of the magic in her veins. And that now, without it's cold touch, she was nothing. She was quiet, almost deathly so, as she sat pondering that very thought, over and over, driving it into her mind to show herself reality.

The man didn't mean to simper, but when he was caring for her, his tone was soft, he was careful, and he made sure to take care of her needs. The man unscrewed the lid of the flask, and smiled, "Drink some of that. S'just water, but I kept it near the cool goods, so it should be refreshing." did it appear that he loved her any less due to her age, or weakness? Nope. Zax didn't see her in those terms, though like any man he'd been helplessly attracted to her. He still was, really, even with her being weak, though he knew better than to attempt any kind of seduction.

Edea turned her head, and shook it, "I don't want any water" her voice was low, hoarse, but not from dehydration. She sat quietly, staring off into space, still trying to wrap her head about the idea, trying to pinpoint just when her body had begun to give out, and the magic had taken over. She didn't even know if sleeping would help her anymore. She felt -dead- in every sense of the word.

Zax drew back from her for just a moment, before taking the flask from her, screwing the lid back on and tossing it aside almost nonchalantly. Why didn't he try to get her to drink at least a little. "Alright, well, you don't want any water.." his words were a bit drawn out, while he sneered at her. Imagine, having to care for an invalid lover.. The idea bothered him just a bit, though Jafar's influence was subtle. "Hmph, what do you want, then?"

Edea looked up at him, then looked aside, as if she could almost read what he thought about her. She drew her arms about herself, and turned her head aside, "Nothing" she said simply, looking down at her hands. When had they become so shaky? when had they become so ... corpselike? she turned them over before her eyes, and sighed.

"Nothing.. fitting." he sneered more openly, the judgmental nature of the Genie housed in his mind declaring Edea not only weak, but inferior. Why, he would likely be able to take her out here and now, and assure his freedom by dominating the man's mind.. Jafar gave him a shove, and Zax's lips moved in words he'd never normally say, slowly intoning them in a cruel manner, "Just like you."

Edea's eyes shot wide, as she turned to him, staring hard. "Excuse me?!?" She gritted her teeth from the pain as she moved to stand up, the sickening crack of a joint as it reset into place, making her shudder, as she stood up, "what did you just say to me?" her voice was near a growl in it's hoarse state.

Zax rose as well, as imposing and big as he ever was, a fire in his eyes that lit them as much as the mako. He almost chuckled at her impotence, tilting his head and speaking casually, "I said you were nothing, 'Sorceress'. You cannot even muster a spell against me, yet you turn aside my care as if you don't need me." he leaned in, glaring, "Well. I don't need -you-."

Edea stared at him for a long moment, the anger visibly boiling in her eyes, making them turn black as pitch as she grabbed at her pocket, slamming Alexander back into her junction, for a last grasp of power to put him back into his place. "How dare you ... Even begin to think ... such a thing" she growled, as she gritted her teeth through the pain of the junction, her hands balling to fists at her sides.

"Think? I -know-!" the man put his hands on his hips, and smirked slightly, "You may be angry enough to put on an impressive light show, but face it, 'Sorceress', you couldn't light a candle." his words were intended to cut at her foundation and remind her that while she was feeling old, Zax was young and vibrant, and likely to remain that way a very, very long time, due to good genetic engineering.

Edea's hand twitched, as a blade began to materialize thanks to Alexander's worry about his mistress, a wicked dagger finding its way into her palm. She flipped it with the casual grace of a serial killer, as she stared at him, "I need no light show. And need no magic. I can still make a pup pay for biting the hand that feeds it" she growled, flipping the blade end to end in her palm, staring at him harshly, ignoring the way her body felt.

The man was still a SOLDIER, and when the blade came out, he sprang into lightning fast action. A quick, brutal chop of one hand sent the weapon spinning from her hand, and the other caught her by the throat, lifting the frail woman like she was a sack of feathers. He squeezed firmly, quite literally choking her, his thumb on her windpipe a hair's breadth from crushing it, "What was that about a biting dog?" the man's eyes were intense as the noonday sun as he pulled her back, by her neck, and hurled her bodily at one of the thick poles supporting the tent.

The crash of her body against the pole was sickening, her skull and lower back cracking against the metal with a thud, before crumpling to the ground. the blade faded, as Alexander went into desperation to try and heal his mistress, who was now laying on the ground of the tent, slumped behind the packs and gear. She didn't dare to move, her body screaming in pain so intensely she could barely catch the breath that had been knocked from her lungs. The only sound that came from her was one, single, gut-wrenching sob, before she stifled it, making herself as small as possible behind everything, going so far as to curl as if to look like one of the packs themselves.

Zax crossed the room, one of his hands limned in crimson flames, and squatted beside Edea. With his fire-free hand, he seized her hair, and yanked her head around to make her look at him, raising the other hand in what was sure to be a killing strike, "Bad dogs get put down, isn't that right, 'Sorceress'..?" this wasn't Zax, even angry, he'd never done anything like this.

Edea's eyes were wide, her throat already showing bruising from his grip. water lined her eyes, her entire body pale and shaking. Tears were rolling down her cheeks in slow trails, as she swallowed hard, her voice a quiet whisper. "Kill me then, Zax .... if that is what you want" her eyes still showing the very true fear in her eyes, the pain too much for her to stand at that moment, tilting her head back to make it all the easier for him, exposing her bruised throat.

The flames flared for a moment, as if he would, and try as he might, Jafar suddenly couldn't make Zax move. He couldn't even access the man's mind, as he found himself inconceivably walled off, and locked out. Zax's eyes flickered a moment, and he looked suddenly horrified and sickened as the fire guttered out, "E-Edea..?" tears formed, and rolled down his cheeks as he looked down at her, and realized with revulsion that he'd done this to her. He'd seen himself do it, and well.. he blamed himself more than Jafar. He really wanted to just curl up and die right there, and he might have made more than a thought towards that, except he'd be leaving his injured Sorceress to the tender mercies of a harsh desert.

Edea was still shaking in his grip, still not sure of anything, her breath so shallow, barely enough to hear, "Just do it ... you want to ... do it" she forced Alexander to form her another blade, forcing her head to tilt down, handing it to him, dragging her hair away to expose the back of her neck, holding the knife out to him.

The man growled audibly, grabbing the knife and flinging it behind him into the ground, letting her hair go and stroking her cheek, "No.. no I don't.." he hated himself just then, down to the very core, and hoped for something to snuff him out and deliver the man Edea deserved. Someone who didn't do this sort of thing, for instance.. "Instead of wasting your time on weapons, Alexander, heal her. If she dies, so help me, I'll cast you into the deepest hole I can find, and make sure you're -never- found." he wasn't sure if the Guardian Force could hear him, but he said it nonetheless.

Alexander did what he could for the sorceress, as she subtly shied away from him, moving to sit in the corner of the tent, unable to stand, unable to really do anything now. It was almost too much for her, replaying the events before her, and realizing with some gravity that this, was in fact, her own fault, "My god ... what have I done. ..." she said softly, staring at the ground, and shaking, "I've created a monster." she murmured more to herself than anything.

Zax was focusing more on Jafar, locked in an impromptu mental prison. He and the genie were speaking, which is to say, Zax was yelling at him, in his head. 'Don't you -ever- hurt her again, or there won't be a hole deep enough for you! In fact, I'll get yer lamp, but it ain't goin' to Edea. First fuckin' thing I'm doin' is making damn sure this doesn't happen again.' Jafar, knowing it would happen, was suddenly panicked, and he knew he had to dissuade Zax. 'I am a genie, boy! Do you think I could make you do anything if it wasn't wished for? That woman wanted you ruthless, heartless.. A killer. Face it, you were too good, she needed someone more.. capable.'

Edea slowly fought her way back to her feet with Alexander's aid, hobbling, too sore to barely breathe, before letting herself fall onto the mat laid out for her. she stripped the robes away, her back to the wall, letting the swollen and bruised injuries get air, as she huddled, still afraid for her own life, on the floor.

Zax glanced at Edea, and shook his head, thinking. 'She'd have never meant for me to turn like this on her. To others, well, she can have what she wants of me. But Edea is everything I need, or will ever want, and she wouldn't want me to hurt her! So, genie, explain to me why I won't be destroying that lamp.' Jafar's voice was a little more bargainy, this time around, 'Well.. I granted a wish to your Sorceress.. perhaps you would like a wish as well, Zax.'

Edea was becoming lost in her own thoughts, her own weakness, her own isolation. She had retreated into her mind, to find nothing ... a black void that seemed to be missing it's piece. But somewhere, far off in her mind, something was beginning to stir itself. A voice, fragile, and small, began to murmur to her. 'I can help you ....' it was child-like, and simple. Afraid and alone, but Edea knew better than that. The voice that had crept up for years against the affront of her power, was now finding it's opening, 'I can make you stronger than she can' it was sing-song and quiet, as Edea could almost see the way the greenish-skinned girl stroked her hands along the coffin that held Her. 'let me take her place ... and i can help you' Edea pondered. 'I can make you strong again' the offer was becoming inviting.

Zax accepted a single wish from Jafar. No tricks, no twisting, but exactly what Zax wanted. He spoke the words aloud to invoke them, "I wish she could see herself.. well.. I wish Edea could see herself as I see her.." he trailed off, idly hugging himself, hurting deep in his chest with the knowledge of what he'd done. Even if she'd wanted him to be.. that way.. he still felt so guilty for it he could have died.

And all it took was a little mental push, and suddenly, Edea found herself nodding, 'alright. do it' and it seemed to be a sudden shift, as the child-like creature became a woman, opening the coffin and tossing away the being within it, taking her place into it. the affects on the body were sudden, her back arched up with a groan, as the veins that rooted about her head ripped free, and shriveled, falling away like dust, her body still fragile and weak, but something had changed. her eyes, once a golden yellow, were now turning a shade of amber, her skin, becoming a more milky, creamy white. She laid back, unsure of what had happened, looking around with a blink.

Zax didn't move, having not heard her groan as Jafar, in his mind, had been slightly flashy with his wish granting, nearly knocking the man out with the backlash. He continued to hug himself, tears still dripping from his cheeks, unable to keep himself from crying, though his shoulders didn't shake, and his body didn't convulse with it. He wasn't sobbing, just crying, but he couldn't make it stop.

Edea slowly turned, moving to her feet. She was still -incredibly- sore, but it wasn't in the way of a corpse. She moved slowly, to kneel beside him, rubbing her hand along his shoulder. She was wearing only the slip that had gone beneath the robe, quite like a shift, that merely covered her front and back, exposing her sides and hips. One, almost haunting change, was the black mark that was beginning to cover along her hip, slow ly starting to take a shape. "Zax...." she murmured

The man shied away, scrambling aside from Edea's touch, and her voice, a single sob leaving him. As much as Jafar had altered him, he was aware of it, and he -loathed- himself, that he'd ever hurt her. Zax honestly saw himself as more of a monster than even the genie, and though he loved Edea, it was that same sentiment that made him avoid her touch just then, afraid he'd try to harm her again. Zax didn't trust himself anymore.

Edea felt her heart ache as he pulled away from her, "Zax .... please" she said softly, too weak to force his hand, as she moved to touch him again, realizing he wasn't going to stop shying away. she put her head down, suddenly feeling like he despised her now, turning to walk back again. She would get the lamp, and set Zax free from her slavery, if he despised her so now. And why had he any reason to stay? She was an old crone that had dabbled in fate to try and change him. She wasn't anything good to stay with.

"I.. it's not safe t'come near me.." he huddled in almost the same way she did, though his reaction was more akin to a frightened animal. "What.. what if I hurt you again? I.." his whole body shook.. was the man having some sort of panic attack? It was suddenly hard to breathe, and his head spun as he tried to take a breath, finding it difficult to even pull shallow amounts of air.

Edea rushed to him, moving towards him, "Zax!" she grabbed for him, and suddenly with such anguish in her voice, she shook her head, "Jafar what have you done to him! Zax ... come on ... stay with me. Forget the lamp we have to go back ... we have to get you out of here" she shook her head, "It's not worth all of this!" she said, as she held her arms out, hoping he'd let her touch him.

Zax.. well, he was too busy panicking, then panicking about panicking, to pull away from Edea. He looked at her, past her, just breathing hard and rocking slightly, mumbling about how he was no better than a monster, and should be killed like one. Jafar was silent about the whole thing, not wanting to mess with Zax's mind any more than he already had, for fear of breaking his mind completely.

Edea grabbed him, hauling him into her arms, and rocking him herself, starting to coo softly at him, while mentally, she was screaming. 'Jafar! This wasn't part of the deal! If I can't fix him consider the deal off! you can rot in your cave for all of ETERNITY!' inside her, the beast she had allowed to replace the witch was waking, and growling. Sensing her anger, sensing her heartache, and wanting to soothe it, the beast was charging to aid it's new master. In her mind, a mythical beast was rearing its head to strike. 'FIX THIS NOW!' she roared in her mind, and the beast roared as well.

Jafar surged up to meet whatever threatening thing it was, cautious but unafraid, 'Hmph, you speak as if it is my providence to fix the troubled mind, Sorceress. He is in this state, simply because he hurt one hair on that pretty head of yours. You expect me to fix it? Watch.' he touched something representing Zax's mind, and the man's body lurched, his skin paling, 'He will not allow me to even touch his mind, after what your wish allowed him to do. The boy doesn't even trust himself, and if he can't do that, what do you expect me to do?'

Edea growled, 'You made him hit me, Jafar, you will fix it or so help me I will make sure that not only, do you not get what you wish, but that the lamp falls into the lava that protects it! Do. Not. Cross. Me. Genie.' the beast was growing, raging, beyond the bounds of a normal creature, as she held onto Zax protectively. 'I don't care how long it takes you, you will fix this before we proceed any further.'

Jafar heaved a sigh, and did what he could to calm Zax, hitting him with a simple, but powerful, tranquilizing spell. The man's breathing slowed, and he slumped against Edea, breathing slowly, his eyes red around the edges from crying, holding himself as the woman held him. In a very small voice, he begged Edea to kill him then and there, before he could hurt her again.

Edea shook her head, "Zax, I cannot lose you." she said softly, holding him quite like a child as she rocked him, 'Make him see that it was you doing it and not him. I’m growing tired of your game.' the beast was ready to strike the genie, all black shadow and fury, lurking, ready to strike the wily man. "Please, Zax."

Jafar was no slouch, and as ready as that shadow was to rend him, the genie was ready to strike back. 'He knows it was my doing. But that isn't the problem. He knows he's been changed; see it through his eyes instead of blinding yourself with rage. You're what means most to him. When given a single wish, for -anything- his mind or heart could desire, he simply wished for you to be as he sees you. That was all he wanted.'

-Even genies have limitations. I have but few. Cease arguing with my matron- it was as detached from Edea as it could possibly be, vibrating, deep, but still somehow feminine. The shadow of the Dark Witch formed and became solid in front of the black shadows, hands claw like holding their orb. 'You put him up to it, knowing all of his thoughts. you are as more to blame than him. I should rip you to shreds for thinking me weak' Edea held Zax close, kissing his forehead, his lips, his cheeks, anything she could reach.

'Genies of my caliber have four limitations, it comes with the territory.' Jafar shrugged, and, with an oily smile, said simply, 'The only things I cannot do with a wish, however, are kill someone, make someone fall in love, or bring back the dead. Two little words and we're golden.' Zax was leaning on Edea, but was otherwise unresponsive.

'yes ... and the biggest one is that whoever possesses your lamp, possesses you. We could let some piddling little scrap peddler have your lamp and melt it down into jewelry. or, we could simply have it obliterated. or have one of the airships drop it from its dock, forever to be floating into the cosmos untouched. And the way I see it, you're outnumbered. So be a good simpering little shit and fix the mess you've made' she was getting more of her old bite back, as she picked up Zax, her voice a subtle command, "Zax ... wake up, calm down, and stop thinking that you're a monster. You didn't do this, you wouldn't hurt me. So stop thinking it was your fault"

Zax shivered a little, heaving a deep sigh, "I could have stopped it.. I.. I didn't.. Edea.." he hugged her tightly, clinging to her as if she were a lifeline for him. Jafar was silent on the issue, after snapping his fingers, wrenching Zax out of the pit he'd dug, and planting him firmly back in his head. The man still looked haunted, and wherever he looked, it wasn't at himself.

"No, you couldn't. Because he's far older than he lets on, and when we get this lamp, I'm going to make sure he can't hurt my precious Knight anymore. I need you." she said softly, holding him close to her and hugging him tightly, "I caused this. Not you. I will fix it. 'I'll have him unjunction you if you don't behave, and leave you to rot' she threatened, before stroking Zax's hair, luckily for him, the wounds he had inflicted were already gone, the only injury the black mark growing along her hip.

The man shuddered softly, and continued to hug up to her. He knew she'd changed, but really, she wasn't anything but what he knew her to be.. "If.. if I ever get like that again.. take me out.." he was stating his wishes, and likely if he hurt Edea again, Zax wouldn't wait for her to do it. The man was a creature of opposites in that regard.

"You won’t' be able to" she said, cryptically, her eyes glowing for a moment, "i did something ... I don't know what it will do ... but I did something" she said, softly, holding onto him with a smile.

"Something..?" he sniffed, finally able to dry his eyes, and looked at her, noting the change almost instantly. The thing that stood out most was, well.. The way her face had changed. Sure, he could tell she was Edea.. But she no longer had that ageless quality her glamour had given her.. Instead, she was young, flush and in the prime of her life. The man let out a little exclamation of admiration, "There's my Edea...” he didn't notice he was saying it, but there she was. Strong, beautiful, powerful, ageless.. At least Jafar had granted that wish.

Edea stroked his cheek, and laughed a little, drawing him up more fully and smiling faintly, "You should probably rest ... unless you want to keep going like this" she said softly. True, she was still weak, but she wanted to be done with this fool's errand. She pushed her hair - when had it become thicker? - from her face, and stroked his own hair gently.

The man shrugged softly, and smiled to her, "I've already set up the tent.." he gestured vaguely to the disheveled room where he'd previously almost finished her off, and sighed, "I.." he drew a little inward, "You should rest up tonight, Edea. We can finish what we came here for tomorrow, if that's alright.."

Edea nodded her head, and looked around the tent and shrugged, "Alright. We will rest here for tonight then" she said softly. She was still out of sorts, memories flooding to her that weren't exactly hers. It was giving her a headache, the changing of information, the changing of everything, but she still felt haggard. Her body had yet to change, still sore and stiff. She gently moved away from him, starting to straighten up the mess.

Zax was careful not to move too quickly, or even bump into Edea when he moved to help her clean things up. He also reset her tea service, so in a few minutes there would be boiled water to steep with. Eventually, though, he remained near the door to her tent, and said quietly, "I'll keep watch, to make sure you're safe."

"Please don't pull away from me now, Zax" she said softly, looking up as she sat down on the ground of the tent, changing from her robes, and into a thin shift to wear to rest in, glancing over at him. "I do not blame you for what happened, nor do I think it will happen again. Please ..." she said softly, eyes warm, as she looked over to him. "And of all the fates I have been offered before, death at your hands seems like the best way to leave this world" she said with a sad smile.

He nodded softly, and stayed in the tent, walking over to her and kneeling down. Honestly, he wasn't sure how she could trust him after what he'd done, but the man trusted her judgement, and wouldn't press an issue like that. If she didn't think he was going to hurt her, well, likely he wouldn't get the chance, and that put him a bit at ease. "Alright.."

Edea didn't seem to be uneased around him, nor did she flinch like most women that just nearly got killed would. instead, it was business as usual, as she started to prepare a pot of tea, humming softly as she worked, watching him with a slight smile.

Zax made sure there was a teacup ready for her, and also got the cubes of sugar out. They didn't have any cream, but that was acceptable considering the situation of being in the middle of the desert and all that jazz. Her humming was soothing, and he continued to rest on his haunches while listening.

She poured them both a cup once it had steeped, and dropped a cube of sugar into hers, sitting back and acting rather normally, though tired. She gently settled back, pushing her hair back again and blowing across the cup delicately.

Zax took his cup carefully, somewhat worried he was just going to be a reckless bull in a china shop after what he'd done, but slowly coming back into his forte. He sipped it slowly, and watched Edea with her teacup, keeping quiet and trying not to be too obtrusive. "Can I do anything else for you before bed, Edea?"

For once, Edea gave a bit of a smirk, quite unlike her, as she turned her head, "Well ... I think anything I'd be interested in requires less clothing" before she turned to look back at him, "but no, I can't think of anything beyond that I could need right now. " she said softly, sipping at her tea thoughtfully

He blinked, and blushed softly at the idea. Before she'd been very attractive, but since this change had come over her, well, Zax had been sneaking looks and glances and actively trying not to think the way he'd been thinking. Sure, he was pulling away a lot, but he was cloned from Zack, and that libido could only be denied so much. "Well.. that is.. if you'll have me, I'm certain I can indulge any.. appetite.. you may have found yourself with."

Edea smiled, and finished her tea, setting the cup down and standing up, letting her body brush near him as she moved towards the bedding, laying down in it and smiling, sliding herself under the covers in a slightly teasing fashion, as she laid back, settling in comfortably and watching him.

Zax was wearing far too much to sleep, let alone do anything with Edea that required less clothing. He tugged off his shirt, making a bit of a show of his well-muscled physique, and dropped it to the side, losing his pants on the way to her bed. Clad only in shorts now, Zax climbed onto the bed and leaned down, kissing her cheek gently, careful not to rest his weight on her just then.

Edea watched him appreciatively, before reaching a hand up to his neck, smiling, and murmuring gently up to him, "Now ... there's my Zax" in mirror of what he had said to her, as she stroked her fingers up into his hair, playing it between her fingertips and sitting up slightly.

He blushed more, smiling almost shyly to her, which was a little odd considering who he'd been spawned from. "I couldn't be anyone else's.." he mumbled it, turning his head so he could gently kiss at her arm. What would he do without her..? Zax honestly didn't know.

Edea gently stroked his cheek, and relaxed back to the bed, watching him with a warm smile, her eyes watching him as he kissed along her arm. "And for some reason, I rather like it like that" she murmured.

He chuckled softly, and, while kissing and nibbling down her arm, slowly rested on his side beside the woman. Zax's mouth crossed over her shoulder to her neck, where he very gently swiped his tongue over her skin. If nothing else, Zax could appreciate Edea the way he thought she deserved.

Edea moaned softly, tilting her head and moved her body closer to him, pressing her skin to his as best she could. She ran her hand down along his chest, smiling as she touched him. her nails gently dragging along his skin, closing her eyes for a moment, groaning as a shiver ran along her spine.

"Mmh.." he mumbled against her neck, and continued flicking her flesh with his tongue, holding her close and nipping gently.
