Who: Lenne and OPEN
What: Lenne is contemplating the universe?
Where: Luca, docks
When: Mid-afternoon
Rating: PG to be safe?
Luca was a lot better for the lack of Heartless. The incoming and outgoing traffic had been severely policed because of the attack but, thankfully, the heat had died down now the attack reports had stated that no Heartless had been spotted anywhere.
Seated on a bench outside of the Blitzball arena, at the docks, Lenne was waiting for Shuyin and Maiyah. She assumed Shuyin had gone to check when their airship was leaving. Still, she was sure that none of them had discussed actually where they were going. The songstress could tell Maiyah was afraid of leaving Spira, even if the strong woman never seemed to crack under any pressure.
Maiyah was the nearest thing to a best friend she had now. Shuyin was her boyfriend, or lover, whatever it was, which left Maiyah as her only friend. She loved them both dearly. The way the woman had protected her all the way to Zanarkand, and their interesting adventures concerning a massacre, having bullets picked from her flesh and stripping unconscious guards, Lenne certainly had come to trust Maiyah.
Humming softly to herself, she was quite certain that she'd lulled the gulls into relaxation and it amused her how they swayed as they stood there. She really did use her voice as her weapon more often than she summoned. Still, part of her wanted to find the girl she'd leant her voice to. Yuna. The woman that had reunited her and Shuyin the first time. Seeing Yuna would give her some peace of mind.

The horrible wretched boat finally docked in the place they crudely shouted "Luca" and Adelle hurried to the pamp of the ship and ushered the dockhands to go faster.
"Come on, I've got shopping to do!"
It still took a few minutes for everything to be completely tied down, but as soon as the okay was given, Adelle shot down the ramp and onto dry land the first and the fastest. She couldn't believe what a place she had found; everything looked better than at home, and no previous crime record... yet. Her slate was pretty clean, as it were.
She wondered where the Galmia Pepe store was in this Luca place, but she saw a very pretty woman sitting the square just in front of the docks. She would normally never really care about anyone unless they could really benefit her, but something about this woman was very interesting and appealing. She came up to the woman and without hesitation began to speak to her.
"Wow, where did you get that outrageous top?"
If she could find one in pink, that could work for her.

Lenne blinked a few times until she realised the young woman was speaking to her. With a soft smile and a slightly laugh, she looked at her top. "Oh, this was custom made for my job..." She couldn't state that it'd been made by a Zanarkand seamstress. People would hear her and think she was crazy.
"I'm afraid there is only one other, and that is... in a dressphere that I allowed another woman to have." She lay one hand on the staff resting on the bench beside her.
Lenne wasn't scared of this woman but she was a little worried for the woman's safety if Shuyin came back while they were talking. He tended to get very over protective and very suspicious.
If he started anything, she'd cast Stop on him. That'd work for a few minutes.
"Um... there are a lot of nice clothes being sold in the main square. They sell things kind of like this..." She gave a soft smile, tucking her hair behind her ear, rattling that long beaded earring as she did.
I deeply apologise for the wait! I hope I can make it up to you soon
"Huh, I hope so! I've been looking for a new top. This one is getting a little boring. Still, looks good on me, don't you think?"
It didn't occur to her that talking about herself incessently was sometimes annoying, but she had questions for the woman, anyway. She had noticed before she had come too close that the woman hand her thin hand placed on an ornate staff beside her.
"Say there, are you a mage?"
She wondered how powerful Lenne might be. Little did she know about her voice...
It's fine!
"It looks very good on you, yes. It goes nicely with your hair." It was odd to be talking with someone about these sorts of things. Maiyah wasn't exactly the feminine type, she wasn't into fashion or makeup or girly things. Talking to Shuyin about it would be like talking to a brick wall. An attractive brick wall but a brick wall nonetheless.
Glancing to her half-staff, Lenne scrunched her nose up a little. "K... kind of. I'm able to cast some magic... but I am a summoner and my magic lays mostly in my... voice."

"You mean singing is your magic?"
And she thought her ability was lame. She was almost tempted to ask Lenne to stand up and give a performance that called for an ovation of many. Adelle didn't even think twice about it being the norm for Lenne, but then she wasn't about to ask, either. She was more concerned about how Lenne managed to get those fancy garments. With fabric like that, there was no way Lenne was poor.

"My voice is simply... magical. Not my magic." It was confusing, indeed, and she had never understood why she'd been blessed with the skills her voice held, but she was never, ever shy about it.
To Lenne, her voice was everything and she best expressed herself through music, due to being so naturally timid and gentle.

"Oh! Know what? I forgot my manners!"
She held out a slender hand. Maybe at some point, this woman could show her how she sang magically.
"They call me Adelle."

"My name is Lenne." She certainly would show off her talents. She was fond of singing whenever she could, especially if it meant showing off a little.
She was, after all, a songstress. A diva at heart.
