Who: Squall, [open]
When: Afternoon
Where: Costa Del Sol
What: Clearing out some monsters
Rating: TBA
Things had been quiet as of late. Too quiet for Squall’s liking. Quiet usually meant something big was on its way. He had looked into those people Glenn was searching for, but so far his research hadn’t produced many results.
Missions were on the slow side too, and those that were coming in were simple clear out missions, mostly suited to the lower level SeeDs. However, when a mission to clear out some strong fiends over in Costa Del Sol he had instantly signed himself up.
So far things were going well. The fiends were strong, but not overly so. Hopefully with a few more hours – providing none of the beasts respawned the area would be secure.

Date: 2010-01-14 03:15 pm (UTC)Quite the sight to behold, thought many soldiers as they jumped out of the beast's path, a path of small embers in its wake. It had been sometime since Serge finally managed to get the medicine for her, and unfortunately for him, she still wished to go to the beach.
He said unfortunate because of the current situation, preferring not to interfere in SeeD business again. He wasn't against helping others, far from it, but organizations such as them should easily be able to handle their job.
The real problem however was that Kid simply wanted her vacation, the one she yearned for. And considering the amount of fiends supposedly on the beach, maybe a workout could be adjusted to her schedule; there were hardly anymore hunts worth her attention.
After hearing another cry from Serge, Kid simply rolled her eyes, patting Ifrit on the back. "Fine! Ya neva lemme have any fun!"
As soon as the beast leapt over a barricade of soldiers, landing several feet away, it suddenly halted. Sadly, the force caused Serge to bounce off, landing face-first into the sand as he made a splash upon impact alongside the summon.
Struggling to stand back up, panting heavily to regain the air forced out of his lungs, he simply sighed heavily. Leaders were usually treated with respect, yet he just got used like a rubber ball; he prayed Ifrit wasn't planning on playing fetch. Looking up, hoping Kid would scold the beast, she instead pet it, smirking. At this he hung his head. "Why do I not get any respect!?"

Date: 2010-01-14 10:32 pm (UTC)"Oh wow! The big cheese at SeeD is here!" she rolled her eyes. "Nice to know you guys have enough time stormin' beaches while we took care of some Heartless in Dollet, without your bloody aid I might add! I swear, I thought that was your territory! It was a freakin' warzone there! Next time you guys are dumb enough not to defend a city, I'll personal shove me boots up your ars--MMMPH!"
A gloved hand covered her mouth, and it didn't take long to figure out who it was. "Enough!" he scolded, his other hand wrapped around her waist, preventing her going forward. Kid stood still, not wishing to hurt Serge anymore than necessary; she brought him along for a reason after all. "Glenn managed to get him to aid us in finding Janus. There's no reason to antagonize him." Staring back at Squall, his eyes widened. "Hey wait! You're the guy from the Halloween party a few months back!" He grinned. "Nice to see you again! I'm sure you remember us from our failed talk with the queen! Well, we wanted our vacation, but never got it thanks to our friend Glenn getting Kid sick, so we thought if we could help clear out some monsters and get our vacation as well!"

"I remember you. You were the ones giving Queen Ashe trouble at the party." He ran a hand through sweat-damp hair. "Look... If you want to slay some fiends, be my guest, just don't get yourselves killed."

He had to find out what exactly did she do to deserve such a cold reception, though he had a good idea considering her thievery. "We didn't mean to cause trouble. All we wanted to do was simply get some help returning home and finding Janus. That's all! If I knew she and Kid had a problem, I never would have brought her!"
Running a hand, adjusting his bandana back to normal from the ride over here. "So, what kind of fiends are we going to be dealing with? More Heartless, or something else?"

Date: 2010-01-15 03:24 am (UTC)'Ahh, I wish Miss Aeris could be here. That would be nice.' she smiled widely at the thought of the friend she'd met in Midgar.
She stopped in front of a large bulletin board sitting outside one of the bigger bars. Normally a job wasn't the first thing one looked for when visiting a new city, but if there was a bounty that needed taking care of, she would do it. Especially if monsters were abound.
"Monster clearing..." she tilted her head at the prospect of battling a few renegade monsters. That was it, she decided. After memorizing the location, Terra took off for the area where the fiends were located. Her steps were halted, however, when she spotted others already handling the situation.
'Oh...it seems I'm not needed after all...' Still, she couldn't help but feel disappointed.
