Midnight in Bevelle

[ ooc: Starting another one just for our new revamped game :3 ]

The night crowd was just as big in Bevelle as it was in Luca. It was easy to get lost amongst the crowds if you weren't careful, hence why most people stayed indoors. Though it was the religious capital of Spira, Bevelle wasn't a city of prudes. Its own teenage and young adult population could attest to that. This night, along with many other nights, that specific age group made a point to visit every club or popular meeting spot possible before having to meet curfew. Of course, the latter only applied if they were under eighteen.

Aqua was a different story. She was seated at the outdoor patio of one of the biggest cafes in Bevelle's downtown area. A small laptop was on the table in front of her, displaying information about cities she'd read up about. She stared at the information intently as she tried to figure out which of the cities on the screen was the best to visit. It was a toss-up between Balamb, Midgar, or this other city called Wutai. She wasn't sure about the third one, however.

'I wonder why I'm nervous.' she thought. With a sigh, she shut the laptop and leaned back in the chair. 'If I'm not contacted, I suppose it won't be so bad. I can still stay here after all...'

Her gaze went to the rest of the people milling about the cafe and the other areas surrounding it. Everyone looked so happy and carefree. It seemed a bit strange, but she figured she was just so used to seeing conflict rather than peace time. Her thoughts went to her training under Master Eraqus, though only briefly. There was no need to bring up those sore spots.

"Well, me and Aqua here can turn our weapons into vechiles" Terra said as he waved his hand, Earth Shaker appearing in his hand as he set it on the table, waiting for Aqua to summon hers.

Aqua called her keyblade, feeling a great sense of comfort just from holding the long unused weapon. Rain Fall seemed to relish being back in her hands as well, or at least that was the feeling she got from it.

"It's been too long since I've called on this." she said, looking from Terra to Kid and back again.

(OOC: Nope. Just join me in the new post tomorrow and help slay the monster!)

Jealously crept onto Kid. All she could do was summon Ifrit and control fire at will. "Wish I could do that, and I mean all of that stuff!" The keyblade masters certainly proved to be entertaining, but this was perfection in its finest. Now she could get away from those guards and finally get some money while she was at it!

"Yours does support two, right Aqua?" she said, while pointing at Terra with her thumb, grinning in a teasing fashion. "I think someone like you might be mad if I rode around with your mate over there!" She certainly would if another woman touched Serge, and in some cases, even guys.

Aqua blinked a few times, not quite knowing what to make of that statement. Her cheeks did turn a nice shade of pink though.

"Yes, it carries two people." she said finally.

"Oh, we're not really...." Terra stopped as he rubbed the back of his head, he was never good with the more social stuff, he usually left that up to Ven.......Terra closed his eyes as he touched his keyblade, causing it to disapear.

Aqua allowed herself to reflect on that a little more. If not for Ventus those years ago, she would hardly be able to strike up a casual, non-Heartless/monster related talk with Terra. Even still, it was a bit awkward...far be it from her to ever say anything about it though.

She let out a cough to draw attention back to the issues at hand.

"Shall we get going then?"
