There was no denying it: the Thunder Plains made Aqua nervous. As Terra had guessed, her connection to the element of water made her shudder even thinking about Thunder spells or anything of the sort. Luckily the lightning was drawn to the tall spires that dotted the Plains, and standing near one was the safest thing to do.

"I'm sure they'll find us." she said, giving Terra a light pat on the back. She tried smiling to make him a little more comfortable. "There's a Travel Agency near the end of the Plains, so we can relax there if we don't find anything in the next hour."

She paused to think of something else. "And...maybe we can ask around for any sign of Roxas' friend."

Terra nodded as he held his hand out, summoning his keyblade. "They usually come when we have these out" he said, his face still searching.

Aqua mentioned something about Roxas' friend. "Yeah, that might be good."

Meanwhile, watching them from one of the spires, his form covered in shadow, Xehanort grinned as he held his hand out, summoning creatures of the darkness to go after them. "Kill the girl but leave the boy for me" Xehanort said as he leapt down, walking calmly towards them in the distance

Aqua followed suit and Rain Fall appeared in her hand. She flashed Terra a grin before returning to looking at the area around them.

"Let's keep our eyes open too, hm? they also tend to spring on us when we aren't expecting it."

As if the universe was listeining, at that time, thunder struck revealing a swarm of heartless moving towards them. Terra swumg Earth Shaker into the ground as he moved, knocking the beings aside. "You had to say that, didn't you?" he laughed

"Oh shush you." she rolled her eyes. As a group of Heartless came up at them, she swatted them aside with Rain Fall. The numbers against them didn't seem too bad for the time being. It definitely wasn't more than they were used to fighting.

Terra grinned as he kept slashing through the heartless when his keyblade hit something...metallic. He turned his head to see someone he wish he never had to see again. The other person put his hand out as Terra was suddenly sent flying through the air.

Xehanort grinned as he flicked his keyblade, snapping as the heartless disapeard. "Hello..Master Aqua" he said with a grin.

Aqua spun fast as she also heard the "klang!" of metal on metal. Dread immediately surged through her gut as she caught sight of the very bane of her existence: Master Xehanort. There had once been a time where she had respected the man, but those were days long past. Now, only hatred churned in her chest when she thought about him.

She didn't reply with words to his call. She went to stand near Terra, making sure he was alright, but kept her eyes on the older man. Rain Fall buzzed lightly in her hand, eager to do battle with him.

"What are you doing here?" she asked lowly. "You're supposed to be dead."

Xehanort grinned as he gestured to Terra. "So should he" he said as he lifted his hand, the earth rising beneath the two

She yelped as the wall separated her and Terra. She called out for him, but she knew he could handle his own. Satisfied with that thought, the blue-haired woman growled as she charged at Xehanort, Rain Fall ready.

Terra howled in pain as Aqua was lifted up. He glared at Xehanort who simply kept that smug grin on his face. "You FUCKING BASTARD!" he shouted as he rushed at him, slamming his keyblade at Xehanort's face as the older keyblader swerved around him, kicking him in the back before slamming his own keyblade into Terra's knees, sending the latter to the ground.

"It's a shame really. Oh well, I'll have fun sharing your body again"

Hearing those words made Aqua's blood run cold. So that was why he was here: to take back control of Terra? No...no, she wouldn't let that happen. Not again.

"You're not taking him from me again!" she shouted, launching a volley of Blizzaga spells at the old Master. She followed them up with several swings of her keyblade when she was close enough to the man's head.

Xehanort sighed as he lifted his hand, darkness intercepting the Blizzaga. However, the volley of keyblade attacks hit, Xehanort being knocked away as he threw his hand out, an large firaga firing towards Terra

She shouted for Terra to be careful of the attack even as she chased after the old Master. Fury coursed along with blood through her veins. He wasn't going to take Terra away from her again. Not ever. She would rather die than have that happen!

Aqua switched her Command Style to Ghost Drive, which heightened her speed and left illusions of herself in her wake. Thundaga spells flashed from her fingers as she closed the distance between herself and Xehanort.

Xehanort grinned as the spells shot towards him. He quickly flicked his hand as the ground shitfed where Terra was, sending the keyblader flying through the air, going through the firaga and then landing in front of Xehanort where the thundaga spells hit him instead of their intended target

Terra roared in pain as he fell to the ground, his body smoking

Her eyes widened as her spells were redirected to hit Terra instead. Her heart beat faster, eager to wipe the smug look of Xehanort's aged face.

"I'll kill you!" she shouted, slashing and swiping at him with Rain Fall.

Xehanort grinned as the slashes went through his now disspating body as he teleported himself and Terra from the desert wasteland
