Who: Rush, Serah, Lightning
What: Arriving in the future
Where: Aerith's Church
When: 6 P.M.
Rating: PG
The streets of the slums appeared peaceful at this time, unlike the rest of the city above. It was a quiet night for the citizens, with no monsters or soldiers claiming any turf as their own. Yet within the Church belonging to a certain flowergirl, lights had ignited within, gusts flowing through the windows. With no one around, no one could see the spectacular flashing from within.
Inside of the old church, a circle appeared above the pool of healing water, searing the room with a blinding flash. Lights dying down, a man fell from the sky, splashing in the mini-lake below, water splashing up and falling back down where it came.
After a few seconds, the young man shot back up, coughing as the water filled his lungs. Constantly, he gasped for air, holding onto his chest, his body still aching from the fall. His eyes were closed, eyes still in shock from the pain that had burned into them. Never had he been so blind, and moving in the water did not help too much; it was going to take a bit for the healing effects to finally kick in.
But there was one thing Rush knew: he knew he was alive!

She then dug into the pocket of her skirt and took out a pink handkerchief. Kneeling down next to him she gently wiped the water away from his eyes and hair. "Are you going to be alright?" She asked worriedly.

Date: 2010-11-14 08:07 pm (UTC)It was then he realized that his vision came back in full fury, and his eyes widened at the surroundings he was in. This place...wasn't Athlum, nor any other building or homeland he recognized. Everything was in disarray and shambles. Just how old was this place!?
"Where...Where am I?"

Date: 2010-11-14 08:15 pm (UTC)She gently squeezed the excess water out from her handkerchief and neatly folded it before putting it back into her pocket. The placed did seem really run down and old however Serah then turned around and spotted a patch of flowers that seemed to be blooming in abundance despite the old and tattered state of the building.
She slowly got up and walked towards the patch of flowers.
"Pretty." She said softly as she knelt down and touched a petal of one of the flowers.

"The region...what is it called?" he asked. "Which way is Athlum?"

Date: 2010-11-14 08:53 pm (UTC)"We're in a place called Midgar." Serah replied as she stood up and turned to face him. She finally took a good look him from head to toe.
His clothes seemed a little different from what she wore back at Cocoon so he probably wasn't from where she was. Dalmasca was a hot place so judging from his clothes he probably wasn't from there either. His clothes had a lot of intricate details and designs so he couldn't be from Midgar either.
She slowly walked towards him and circled him like a hawk from top to toe. He looked as though he was around a head taller than she was, his body structure and clothing made him look as if he was some sort of warrior or knight. But what fascinated Serah the most were his eyes. There was just something about them that made her heart skip a beat for some reason.
She slowly reached out and touched his face as she looked into those warm chocolate brown eyes that seemed to start a strange new feeling on her.

Date: 2010-11-14 09:35 pm (UTC)He raised an eyebrow at the sudden gaze he was getting. Had this been the woman to bring him here? Maybe, maybe not, but the stares were making him feel uncomfortable. Just what in the world was she?
A blush rose on his face, flinching and crawling slightly backwards. "Uh...Do I got something on my face or something?"

Date: 2010-11-14 09:58 pm (UTC)"You have a...a cut on your forehead." She said. "Hold still."
She then took off the bandage on her arm that was covering her L'ciel mark and began to dress the wound on his forehead.
'I guess there wouldn't really be much of a need covering up my L'ciel mark now. After all, people would just think I'm just some kind of street punk with a tatoo.' She thought to herself.
"There all finished!" She said with a smile. "That should do the trick until my sister comes. Maybe she might have some medical supplies to properly treat that wound of yours."
She then looked her L'ciel mark on her left arm. To think that she had turned into a L'ciel and had to complete her focus. So many things have happened since she was awakened and set free from her crystallized cage. She got separated from her sister and Snow. And worst of all... Snow had moved on without her.
She then shook her head. She had to be strong for herself and her sister. She herself had to move on with or without Snow.
She smiled at the man. "I'm not exactly from this world. So I'm guessing you're from this Athlum place?"
She held out her hand and grinned. "I'm Serah." She chimed. "Serah Farron from Cocoon. And who might you be?"

Date: 2010-11-15 03:44 am (UTC)He rubbed the bandage, still blinking and confused. Nevertheless, he nods while giving a slightly nervous smile. Being ungrateful towards the girl was not the smartest thing to do in this situation, especially if she had a sister. Based on his experience with women, if there was a nice sister, there was bound to be one that was strict too, the one you never wish to piss off.
"Yeah, I am..." he answered. Looks like he had to dig up some more info before deciding what else to do. This was some challenge alright. Putting those thoughts aside for the moment, he reached out and shook Serah's hand while giving a far less tense smile. "Anyway, the name's Rush Sykes. It's good to meet ya, Serah."

Date: 2010-11-15 09:53 am (UTC)At least it was good to know she wasn't the only one who wasn't from this world at all. At least she wasn't really alone and lost here now that this Rush guy was here with her.
Serah took a little look around the old run down church that they were in. Apart from the tiny field of flowers that seemed to grow with vibrancy and abundance despite the tattered state of this church.
Night was falling and Serah and Rush needed to find a place to stay for the night until Lightning could come and help them out. Hopefully.
"It's getting dark soon." Serah said worriedly as she looked up at the sky. "We have to find a place to stay for the night. "

Date: 2010-11-16 02:27 pm (UTC)They sure needed to get out of there fast or else the storm that was brewing might just catch up with them.
A louder clap of thunder sounded through the darkening skies and it was soon followed by a strong gust of wind and then finally...
Rain.
Serah cringed in fear as she grabbed onto Rush''s arm.

Turning to face her fully, he grabbed Serah by her arm gently, trying to ease her fears. "Come on then. We gotta get outta here."

Date: 2010-11-16 02:52 pm (UTC)As Serah ran with Rush, the rain just continued pouring down. Her clothes soon became soaking wet from the rain but Serah didn't really car much. She just needed to find a place for Rush and her to stay in for the night.
