Blank may well be a common thief, but he would never steal from those in need. He'd never steal from the poor. And he'd always do whatever he could to help his and his own. That is why he had collected as many potions and remedies as he could, and why he was currently making the rounds of Lindblum helping everyone who needed aid.

Helping others gave him something to focus his thoughts on if nothing else. Once the people were healed, he could help repair some of the damage to the buildings. Lindblum was always unlucky when it came to assaults it seemed. But it brought the people closer together, working together to restore their beloved city.

He cradled an injured moogle in his arms, applying potion and ointment to a badly damaged wing. He'd already helped a lot of people. But his work was far from over.

Selphie paused to watch Blank speak to the little girl and smiled - it was always nice to see a guy getting on well with children. Then she turned back to a young couple, laughing with them as she healed them up. "You're lucky you had your hero around!" The man had taken considerably more damage that the woman.

Blank joined Selphie, smiling at the couple. They'd survive. A good thing considering they had the rest of their lives ahead of them. "You guys be careful, okay? Next time you see a Malboro, you just shout for me!"

Selphie giggled at Blank's reaction, leaning down close to the couple and whispering, "His name's Blank, by the way, in case you needed to know!" Cause after all, how would they shout for him if they didn't know his name.

She took a step in front of Blank and spun round to look at him, "So what's next?"

"Hm. Coffee break?" Blank asked, tilting his head to one side slightly. "You must be pretty exhausted after all that magic casting... You really did a great job, thanks again."

"Does coffee break also involve tea and cake? If so, then take me there, captain! I'm ready for a break!"

She smiled at him and jumped forward for a quick hug before raising a hand for a high five. "We did pretty good, didn't we?"

Blank chuckled. "Tea and cake? Hm, okay, I think I can stretch to tea and cake - just this once!"

"We make quite the team!" He returned the highfive bfore grasping her hand in his, grinning. "Come on!"

Selphie smiled brightly as he took her hand, and as tired as she was, she couldn't help but enjoy running through the streets with him, giggling.

"Where are we going?"

"There's an awesome cafe. Best cakes ever!" And it's where he had been with Quistis when all this Malboro mess started. Still, he tried not to dwell on that too much. He'd only get down in the dumps if he did.

"Ooh! I like cake!"

And sure enough when they reached the cafe, Selphie looked incredibly pleased. It looked so cute - so she headed inside, waving to a couple of people that she'd treated and took up a seat.

Blank bounded up to the counter to order a selection of cakes, giving the girl behind the counter his best charming grin to earn himself some freebies - being the local ladies' man had it's advantages!

He returned to Selphie and sat down. "It'll be brought over in a minute!"

Wow - Blank really had done well with the bunch of items that he put in front of her. "These look...amazing!"

"Help yourself!" Balnk shot Selphie a grin and poured her a mug of tea and one for himself, before taking one of the cakes and biting into it. He really shouldn't be eating cakes after Selphie had got him lunch, but cakes were always good!

Selphie looked over the selection before suddenly picked one, purely on the basis that it was the brightest colour. And she bites into it happily, "Mmm! This is super good!"
