Who: Laguna, Open
What: Prepering for diplomatic meeting
Where: Presidental palace, Esthar.
When: Mid-day
Rating: none so far
Laguna was excited. He was running around frantic as the tailors desperately tried to fit the Estharian presidential uniform while the greying man was remembering new things that needed to be done, and apparently best done himself. One of the sew maidens was nearly crying out of frustration of the endless energy of the man who was apparently supposed to be both an Adult, and a President.
A Diplomatic relation. 18 years ago this would never had happened. Esthar had always been secretive, keeping their advanced technology for themselves, ignoring the affairs of lesser countries.

Ofcourse, ever since Laguna was put on the top, those rules had changed. There was at least some sort of trade going on, but still they where isolated by the rest. This was the first time a ruler from one of the other countries was going to speak for the joint best of the two countries. Disney palace and Eshtar. The King Mickey himself. Not that Laguna knew allot about him thought, news sorta always eluded him completely, and he could not stand still long enought to be told much. Most of his time he spent running away from his bodyguards, and reading. Exciting things never happened nowadays, so the 42 years old President was ecstatic. Luckily he held his age very good. Except for the soft wrinkle by his eyes, and the greying hair, he was as handsome as ever.
He had ordered the best chefs to make a feast of dimensions, decorating the blue and greenish dining hall into a glowing room of wonder. After all, this was Esthar. The city of technology and wonder. Everything seemed like it was made of blue or green glass, everything breathtakingly clean and beautiful, the Eshtarian flag hanging high, moving softly in the wind.

Everything had to be perfect, and Laguna would make sure it did.
Even if it meant the sew-maid screaming in anger as he stepped on the hem of the uniform, and a tearing sound came.

Date: 2009-04-13 08:01 pm (UTC)"I hope your trip was pleasant." he looked down on the mouse, steps bouncing a bit as he led him through the rooms of the castle, smiling wide. "I know the airspace around here can be a bit difficult at times. Our ships have very strong defensive systems in case of animal attacks. its interesting really, how much they have managed to evolve sinse the Lunar cry and.." He was rambleing, and as a servant gave him a look, he shut himself. "Im sorry. I keep going on without reason."

It's always bowing and scraping, guarded words and sugared insults." he shrugged softly, "I guess they're afraid I'll go all Queen of Hearts on people."

Date: 2009-04-14 06:13 am (UTC)"Oh, we would not have shot you out of the sky. One, I told them you where coming, second, your ship is not a dragon." He laughed, showing him into a grand hall which smelled of delicious food. "I thought we could begin with dinner. I at least am allot more pleasant and easy to get along with if I'm full!" He beamed.
Laguna was pretty happy and easy going when hungry, how on earth would he be with a full belly?
"The green fruit is what I was talking about earlier." He whispered, the chef bowing to them giving Laguna a glare. Seemed the President had a very relaxed relationship with his servants. They where showed to their chairs on the massive table, luckily very close to each other. Laguna had taken one of the sides, allowing Mickey the end of the table where the important people usually sat. Laguna hated sitting there anyways, so he had no problem giving the spot to the King.
