Who: Squall, Open to all
When: Evening
Where: Balamb Garden
What: Yuletide Celebration Ball
Rating: PG-13
Squall had been busy for weeks pulling the Yuletide Festivities together. It was his favourite holiday of the year. A time for family and friends. A chance to share love and happiness and to share gifts.
Balamb Garden’s ballroom had been transformed into a most elegant and beautifully decorated room. A tall tree stood decorated in one corner, surrounded by hundreds of small gifts – one for every visitor. A buffet table stood along the length of one wall, filled with many different seasonal dishes, local and further a field – something to suit all tastes. Wine flowed freely to all adults, and soft drinks for all children. A band filled one corner, playing out classical ballroom music. Airships had been sent across the globe on behalf of Balamb Garden to ensure people had a way of getting to the ball.
Dressed in a smart tux, Squall stood on the balcony, sipping his wine as he looked out over the forming crowd, watching as people danced, talked, ate and had a good time. Everything was coming together perfectly.

Glenn mused, trying to recall the name Kid had told him. "I think the guy we are looking for...I think his name is either Janus or Magus. He's apparently Kid or Schala's brother. All I know is that we can't leave without first consulting him or something." And while talking, he supposed warning Squall of a certain clown wouldn't hurt. "You may also want to keep your eyes peeled for Kefka as well. That guy is nothing but bad news." he added, rubbing his neck as if tending to an old wound.
