[ ooc: Starting another one just for our new revamped game :3 ]
Who: Aqua, open
Where: an open cafe in Bevelle
When: late at night
Rating: N/A at the moment
The night crowd was just as big in Bevelle as it was in Luca. It was easy to get lost amongst the crowds if you weren't careful, hence why most people stayed indoors. Though it was the religious capital of Spira, Bevelle wasn't a city of prudes. Its own teenage and young adult population could attest to that. This night, along with many other nights, that specific age group made a point to visit every club or popular meeting spot possible before having to meet curfew. Of course, the latter only applied if they were under eighteen.
Aqua was a different story. She was seated at the outdoor patio of one of the biggest cafes in Bevelle's downtown area. A small laptop was on the table in front of her, displaying information about cities she'd read up about. She stared at the information intently as she tried to figure out which of the cities on the screen was the best to visit. It was a toss-up between Balamb, Midgar, or this other city called Wutai. She wasn't sure about the third one, however.
'I wonder why I'm nervous.' she thought. With a sigh, she shut the laptop and leaned back in the chair. 'If I'm not contacted, I suppose it won't be so bad. I can still stay here after all...'
Her gaze went to the rest of the people milling about the cafe and the other areas surrounding it. Everyone looked so happy and carefree. It seemed a bit strange, but she figured she was just so used to seeing conflict rather than peace time. Her thoughts went to her training under Master Eraqus, though only briefly. There was no need to bring up those sore spots.

Date: 2010-01-20 11:34 pm (UTC)Xehanort was gone from Terra's body. That much she figured since she first saw him since the physical manifestations of the Master were gone. No longer would she have to fear looking at Terra's face and seeing something evil hiding behind his eyes. Better still, his heart was back with him.
Suddenly, the weight of her own actions, the very actions that had caused Xehanort to continue living, seemed smaller. She didn't know whether to cry, laugh, or both.
"I'm glad you're back." she said, smiling widely at him. Aqua swallowed the lump growing in her throat and looked down, hoping her bangs could hide her eyes as a tear slid down her cheek.
"Agh, why am I crying?" she asked with a little laugh.

Date: 2010-01-21 12:36 am (UTC)Though his next statement sobered her up faster than a bucket of ice to the face.
"Darkness?" she wondered, her voice soft. "Do you think it might be the Heartless?"

Date: 2010-01-21 01:27 am (UTC)But just as she got up from her seat, the word Heartless caught her attention. Unlike Aqua's friend, she failed to keep the words away from the thief's ears. "Heartless you say?" she grinned from ear to ear. "Quick question: Can one of you blokes wield a keyblade? Only askin' because of this." She pulled out the paper she hid in the pouch of gil on her, a picture of a blue monstrosity called Arch Behemoth. She had meant to go when Serge and Glenn came back, but the opportunity for easy money by going with keybladers, and possibly the chance to clear her name if it ever got it, made some dollar signs appear in her eyes.
"This might help ya in your mission, and put some gil in your pockets while you're at it!" she said with a grin and a wink. "I only ask ya bring me along! Buggers won't lemme go since I can't use a bloody key! 'Sides, I'm curious too."
Though she preferred not say, Terra had made her think more on the subject. Schala did warn of her something coming, but if it wasn't Heartless, than what? What in this world could be worse than Heartless and fiends? Sure, she had heard rumors of this thing called Sin, but she had yet to encounter it. There was only one other person she could think, and that guy--no, demon was dead. Serge made sure of that.

Date: 2010-01-21 01:43 am (UTC)She turned her face toward Kid and smiled. It wouldn't be so bad to help her out. She seemed nice enough, after all.
"I certainly don't need a pretext to fight the Heartless. Far be it from me to not want to help you get rid of one," she turned to Terra to await his answer. She figured he would be eager to go as well, but even if not...well, more for her then!

Date: 2010-01-21 02:02 am (UTC)(OOC: Already applied for hunt. Ready when you guys are!)
Date: 2010-01-21 02:46 pm (UTC)However before anything, Kid needed to somehow sneak out of here without the guards shooting her in the back, or worse, drag her back into a dark cell; she'd rather choose death. Continously looking back and forth between her group, she asked. "So...who here has something to take us to Dollet ASAP? Giant creatures? Airships? Teleportation"
If she could, she would have just summoned Bahamut ZERO, but it was Serge's GF, and the thing refused to listen to her, just like the Knights of the Round. She never knew GF's could be so picky. As for Ifrit...she doubted a creature made of fire could take her all the way to Dollet oversea.

Date: 2010-01-21 04:15 pm (UTC)(ooc: do we have to apply for the hunt too?)
Date: 2010-01-21 06:34 pm (UTC)"It's been too long since I've called on this." she said, looking from Terra to Kid and back again.
(OOC: Nope. Just join me in the new post tomorrow and help slay the monster!)
Date: 2010-01-22 01:00 am (UTC)"Yours does support two, right Aqua?" she said, while pointing at Terra with her thumb, grinning in a teasing fashion. "I think someone like you might be mad if I rode around with your mate over there!" She certainly would if another woman touched Serge, and in some cases, even guys.
(ooc: Awesomesauce :D)
Date: 2010-01-22 01:06 am (UTC)"Yes, it carries two people." she said finally.
(ooc: See you there)

Date: 2010-01-22 04:37 am (UTC)She let out a cough to draw attention back to the issues at hand.
"Shall we get going then?"
