Who: Aqua and Terra
What: Leaving Dollet, taking the airship back to Rabanastre, awkward conversations and what they lead to.

Aqua said her goodbyes to Kid, Glenn and Serge, letting them make their own way back to their destination since their paths separated at Dollet, and called for the nearest airship to pick them up. Thanks to the sleek build and size of the ship, though, it only took half an hour to reach Dollet's shores. The time spent waiting went to her moving Terra closer to where the airship would land. Naturally it took her quite a while to do so since the man outweighed her by several pounds.

"Hopefully you'll wake up on the plane." she said, laughing a little as she sat down with him to wait. Since moving him had taken her several minutes, they didn't have to wait long for the airship to arrive. A man, one of the crewmen it seemed, came out of the landed airship and made his way to the two.

"You're the one who called?" At Aqua's nod, he grinned. "Should we wake him up?"

Terra opened his eyes groggily as he looked around at where he was. He seemed to be on an airship. "ugh.....what happened?"

Aqua was sitting on one end of the couch he'd been laid out on by the crewman. She had a drink in hand, but there was another one on the table in front of them.

"Oh, hello there." she laughed. "How do you feel?"

Terra rubbed his head as he sat up. "Like I just finished training with Master Erauqs" Terra said as he took a sip of the drink in front of him and glanced out the window. They seemed to be slowly coming over some desert. "So Aqua, where exactly are you staying?"

"Where? Well, the only real place I stay is in Bevelle. I don't really have any other house." she shrugged. "You still have that apartment in Rabanastre, right?"

Truth be told, she actually didn't like the small one bedroom, one bath apartment she'd managed to secure in Bevelle. The neighbors were awful and the rent, while cheapest in the city, was still sky high.

"Hmm...what's the rent in Rabanastre? In Bevelle, the cheapest is still 900 gil a month."

Terra caculated it in his head, "It's roughly 700 a month for one person, and 300 per person for two, apparently you get a discount or something" Terra said as he looked down. "Are we...going to Rabanastre?"

"Wow, that much of a discount for having a roommate? I'll have to move there." she grinned. She then tilted her head, wondering why he looked so sullen. She figured it best, since he was unconscious at the time she decided, to just take him home. It was a better alternative than Bevelle anyway.

"You don't mind, do you?"

Terra shook his head. "No, I don't mind" Terra said as he turned to her as the airship dipped down for the landing. "Though were you refferring to us going here, or you moving?"

She shrugged again and leaned back against the seat. Moving to Rabanastre would make sense, since she now had someone there to help her out if she needed it. Though...did she really want live alone? No, no she didn't. Aqua had been alone for far too long already after the incidents with Xehanort.

"Perhaps a little of both?" she gave him a little smile. "I don't really like Bevelle that much. And besides, you'll be there in Rabanastre, so it's not like I'd be lonely. Right?"

Terra grinned. "I don't mind....it would indeed be nice for someone else to be there besides me. You could always move into my place" Terra said as the airship jerked.

"Sorry bout that" The airship captain said to them, "Had a bit of a bumpy landing"

"Wow really? Thanks. I'll be sure to make a trip back to Bevelle soon to pack up everything then!" She scooted over a bit in the seat to hug him tight. Instead of just smiling, she was absolutely beaming with happiness.

Terra grinend as he hugged her back. "Yeah, we could do that now, or do you want to go see your new place" he said as he stood, holding out a hand to help her up

"Let's see the apartment first," she said, taking his hand to stand up, "After all, I have to know if I'll like it before I agree to live there."

Aqua added the last part in a teasing manner. She was sure she would like where he lived. After all, Terra seemed to like it so far.

"I mean, we still have the rest of the week to go get my things."

"Right" Terra said as he pulled her up and they started walking to the door. "My apartment should be to the left of the entrance to the airship parking" he said as they continued walking

Aqua almost didn't want to let go of his hand after standing upright, but let go anyway. She could still feel the heat from his hand. She suddenly got the urge to hug him again...just to feel his warmth. 'Okay Aqua, calm down. Just be calm...you don't even know if he...'

Shoving away those thoughts, she walked alongside him out into the parking area.

"Your apartment is close to this landing area? Pretty convenient if you need to go somewhere, huh?"

Terra nodded. "That was part of the reason I decided to pick that one" dropping his voice to a whisper, he continued, "plus the breakfast served at the restraunt in the landing area is really good"

'Ahhh, food. I should've guessed.' Aqua thought, smiling to herself. Whatever would keep her from having to cook. She was mediocre at best as far as making food went, but she still hated doing it.

"So it's to the left," she said, more to herself than him, and kept her eyes open for the building.

Terra nodded as he pointed at the group of doors to the left, "Right there, Number 626, like our blue friend" he said as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder

"What a nice coincidence." she giggled. It would be nice to see that little alien again, she imagined, just to see how everything was going for him.

Of course, then her mind was brought into the here and now with Terra's arm draped over her. She had to resist a shiver.

"Certainly looks nice from out here."

"Yeah" Terra said as they reached the door, "Well here we are, home sweet home" he said as he reached into his pocket for the key, unlocking and opening the door. It was a small apartment, a kitchen to their right, while a living room was further back and the bedroom was behind a door down the hallway to the left of the living room, the bathroom connected to the bedroom.

"Oh.....right, there's only one bedroom" Terra said as he looked at her, "You don't mind do you? I could sleep on the couch...."

Aqua studied the apartment, nodding approvingly. It was small, but the price sounded decent for a place in such a huge city. It was very clean too, which somewhat surprised her. Usually boys were a bit messy with their bachelor pads, or so she thought.

"I don't really want to put you out or anything. I mean...it's your place." she said, blushing hard.

"No" Terra said as he shut the door "I...I want you to stay here" he said as he walked over to her.

She looked downward a little, then back up at him. Her cheeks were tinged pink again, standing out a bit thanks to the blue of her hair.

"If you say so, then I guess I'll trust you, huh?" she smiled a bit.

Terra grinned "That's the Aqua I know....." he said as he took a step before falling to his knees, holding his side. "Ah, that battle took more out of me than I thought it did"

Aqua's eyes went wide, and she dropped down beside him immediately. Her hands gently pried his from his side so she could study it better.

"Do you have a cut there? Is it just sore?" she asked. "Lift up your shirt so I can see."

Terra nodded as he removed his shoulder armor and gloves, before removing his dark shirt. A large bruise covered his side as Terra stood slowly. "I'm fine, it's just a bruise"
