Who: Selphie - and anyone who might happen along!
What: Getting ready to leave Luca.
Where: Luca.
When: Now.
Warnings: None!~
So the poison had finally been cleared from the air, and the city was slowly but surely repairing itself after the attack. At least, the patients under Selphie's charge were so much the better. The makeshift hospital was being taken down; many of the canvas 'wards' had already been collapsed and packed away, hopefully never to be used again. Selphie was standing in one small tent, smiling and hugging a young teenage boy and a younger little girl. Brother and sister, Selphie had found them, rescued them and healed them. She was teary eyed but pleased to have brought this family together again, especially having none of her own. She left the tent with them and waved them on their merry before turning back to get back to work taking the tent apart.

Date: 2010-04-21 09:48 pm (UTC)"Selphie Tilmitt, SeeD, on behalf of Balamb Garden."
She couldn't help but stand sharply to attention and give a curt salute - it was a habit that she hadn't quite gotten out of, least not to someone who seemed to have some kind of authority about him.

"I find myself bewildered, however," he began, crossing his arms, as the large, gaping sleeves covered his revealed, tattooed chest, "as to why Balamb Garden wishes to help us. What has Spira done to warrant sending one of their SeeD grunts as assistance during our crisis?"

Date: 2010-04-21 10:08 pm (UTC)As for his question, Selphie bowed her head and flushed gently. Balamb Garden really had nothing to do with it, but she hoped that she stood as a good representative. Taking a deep breath, she lifted her eyes towards Seymour's, hoping that Squall wouldn't beat her up about all this some time.
"Oh, well, it's not really anything to do with Balamb. I just stayed to help out cause I wanted to! But...I think that I've done well, as a SeeD and member of Garden."

Date: 2010-04-21 10:25 pm (UTC)"You're very welcome Mister Maester Guado." He had given so many titles and names that she really wasn't sure what to call him. Still, she beamed under the compliments and bounced lightly on the balls of her feet.
"Really, I just wanted to help all these people."
Her head shook slightly, shaking away the idea that she had acted any differently from how others might have done.

"Burn them. I do not know if this poison is infectious." The man nodded, and the worker made a few motions with his hand. Seymour turned back to Selphie. "I will be forced to leave this place soon... a mass Sending will begin, to guide the souls of these innocent victims to the Farplane. I cannot be present when it occurs, for reasons... I shouldn't specify."

Date: 2010-04-23 08:54 pm (UTC)"Mass sending..." Selphie repeated the words softly, giving them that ethereal quality they deserved. But then Seymour said some curious things and Selphie blinked up at him with a tilted glance; why was he telling her this?
"Really? Like what kinda reasons?"
Okay, so he said he shouldn't specify them but that doesn't mean he wouldn't.

Date: 2010-04-23 09:02 pm (UTC)A Guado Guardian approached Seymour, and whispered something into his ear. Seymour sighed... it was time for the Sending to begin, and he couldn't be around when it happened, due to him being an Unsent. "I apologize, Selphie, but I must be leaving now. You are welcome in Bevelle any time you like." With that, Seymour turned towards his Guado Guardian, and left for the Airship landing pad. "Goodbye, Selphie," he said, and disappeared into the parting crowd.
